AWKWARD ZOMBIE

Pierce walks to the plaza and sits silently, waiting for the others to arrive.

Whitney trudged into the area and sat down some distance away. She looked tired and glum, with shadows under her eyes and her ears drooping. The night had been a sleepless one for her--more sleepless than usual, at least.

Lucky walks to the Plaza, wondering what will happen next.
Wait, so we caught the murderer and aren't done? I need to pay more attention to the rules.

We're done when we discover the mysteries of the town or everyone dies, one way or another.

Cranston, still shocked from the day before, quietly makes his way to the plaza, nodding to everyone there.

Punchy trudges to the plaza. Despite getting no sleep last night, his eyes are wide open in fear. His fur is especially messy, too.

He sits down away from everyone else.

Kamak forgot to update the second post for Diana's death. Banned.

Pierce gives a sad glance in Whitney's direction, then looks down at the table he's sitting at.

Punchy is visibly trembling. His ears are pointed down and he refuses to make eye contact with anyone... something has definitely gotten into him.

And then Kamak types up a post in a tab and doesn't submit it, wondering "why has no one said anything in the DC thread?"

Then realizes he didn't post it.

Then accidentally the tab.

I need a drink tonight.

You gather at the plaza for breakfast, but oddly, Nook isn't there.

After what seems like hours, and with villagers getting increasingly bored, he appears, jumping out of the tree in the plaza and landing on the picnic table.

"Bienvenue, le bastards."

Silence fills the air.

"... I decide to be cultured in Froglatin and this is what I get..." he says through a tight smile.

"I see you bastards are still on edge after yesterday's MURDER, but everything is fine now! I'm sure no one will ever murder again. We're all practically family~"

"And you know, families usually give eachother presents as the curl up by a fire, yes? Well, I'm about to give you both."

He pulls out a remote and hits a button.

As you look behind you at the village, two houses catch on fire. They were the former houses of Bud and Diana.

"Doesn't that just feel toasty?"

"As for your presents, a lot of new things are available in the village."

"First of all, your houses now all have a second floor. Magic! You'll also find a closet in there to store things."

"Secondly, we have a new fountain and a flowerbed in town to remember our fallen villagers by."

"And lastly, a few new shops have opened up on Main Street. The Museum is finally open and is already filled with specimens captured by our Mayor, My nephews' shop has upgraded, and we even have a HHA consultant in Lyle to check in on your houses."

"Oh, and I guess the train station is open too. Though the only useful thing in there for you bastards is that the locker in there connects to your closets if you use your ID cards."

"I hope you enjoy the new ammenities we've provided you, and please, feel free to tour~"

Punchy, still reeling from the untimely death of Diana, calms himself down before breaking the silence.
"S-so... a-anyone have plans for today?"


heads up, I'm gonna be gone until Tuesday so see ya~

I'm going to be away from my computer most of the day, so....

Pierce quietly walks out of the plaza, muttering about how he'd like to be alone today.

Cranston gets tired of fidgeting around, thinking about the days past. "I think I might go up Main Street, see what's there, if anyone wants to join."

Hey Kamak could you upgrade the map to show shops and other facilities?


"I think...I'm going to check out some of the shops," Whitney said. "...alone." She turned and walked off, heading for the part of town that she hadn't bothered to visit before. A shop called 'T&T Mart' caught her eye and she grimaced, remembering the creepy little raccoons that Nook had under his wing. But there was no point in dallying just because she didn't want to deal with them--she'd definitely dealt with more unsavory characters in the past. She opened the door and stepped in, glancing around at the merchandise.

"I'm heading over to Bud's and Diana's houses," said Joe as he hefted his shovel over his shoulder. "Gonna do some digging."

Punchy sheepishly gets up and follows Cranston. "H-hey! Wait up!"

Cranston stops, glad that he doesn't have to go alone. "Of course, sweatband. I don't know what's up there but that museum's got me curious, if you want to check that out first."
