Thanks for the non-art thread feedback.

I have self esteem!

And cards!

CARDS!!

I'm only playing with digital representations of cards right now. Does that count?
I really like my Red/Green deck in origins. Also got a Blue/Black and a White/Green I am quite fond of but all of them could still use some more rare (strong) cards.

Magic deck idea: Just go ahead and throw in every planeswalker there is you'll figure it out

We called that theoretical deck the Skittles deck back in my old group. No one ever made it, though, so it was basically an inside joke more than anything.

Willbreaker is such a good card, it's crazy.

My Magic deck summons a lot of Soldier tokens. I don't have enough token cards to represent them, so I made my own.

I'm particularly proud of these two.

An alternative is using a single card and then using a ton of dice stacked onto it. Also, those are pretty rad yo.

Thought about that, but it gets tedious when I have to tap individual tokens when they alternate attacking and not attacking in zerg-rushy waves while I use random tricks to spam summon even more.
And it's just fun taking up over half of my table with cards.

I want to make two Yugioh decks: Fluffals and Madolche. And yes, this is purely because they are all super cute.

I got a Magic the Gathering deck from my friend for my birthday. It's green and blue. It has lots of snakes, and a pretty blue lady. I still don't know how to play properly just yet, but so far it seems a tiny bit easier than Yugioh.

It used to be the other way around in the good ol' times (TM), when Yu-Gi-Oh didn't have 10 different kinds of monster cards.

Magic is lots of fun though, you should learn it.

I've also been getting into Magic. I got the Battle for Zendikar event deck and it seems to wreck face against my friends who got intro packs. I got into a discussion with one of them though, he thought that lands like Rocky Tarpit also give mana when you tap them, basically giving you 2 mana the turn you tap them. From what I find online that doesn't seem like it should be the case, but it's still kinda vague?

If you tap it for one effect you can't use another effect. And you need to sacrifice it. So I'm pretty sure you don't get 2 mana.

My brother spent thirty dollars on cards last night.

Is there a board game thread or should we use this? Eh, board games have cards, same thing really.

Got Dead of Winter, going to play it with someone soon. Only two person game, but will still be fun. Really look forward to inviting some people over after Christmas to try it. Trying not to spoil all the readings at the back, but they look pretty good from what I can see. Excited.

30 is basically a steal for so many. There's single cards costing many times more than that. Maybe he was lucky and there was something valuable in it the seller didn't know about.
