AWKWARD ZOMBIE

Punchy stares at the wreckage for what seems to be forever, then, shutting his eyes tight, runs back home and locks the door.

"I'm sorry it came to this Diana. So, so sorry."

Pierce can barely form words.

"H-how...could you......"

"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS?!?!?"

"Tear down any shred of dignity that girl had left....and then brutally murder her?!?!? You're a monster, Nook!"

"If only I had knocked that knife away... If only I had found a shovel quicker... If only she had incriminated Pierce using my flawless theory..."

"But... I think that despite having to burn to death in a collapsing structure, she still had some dignity left."


Joe rattles his chains. "Hey, Townies, would one you mind lending me a hand with these?"

"But....none of us have keys, rookie."

Goddamnit Yeili. Now I feel bad.

Nook slashes the chains away.

"Looks like you get off scot free today."

"Perhaps people will think you're a good egg now."

"Oh wouldn't it be just lovely if you committed the next murder?~"

"Maybe they won't see it coming."

He turns to everyone, and gets on the intercom so that Punchy can hear.

"That concludes today's activities. Please, get a good rest tonight, and I'll see you tomorrow~"

"And to think, so much in this case revolved around stealing. Two town members outside of their houses, looking for a culprit... and a culprit stealing the murder weapon to pass it on to someone else..."

"And even someone stealing another's life."

"Is this the price you bastards pay for your Avarice, upupu?"

"Oh right. I should burn these aswell. I no longer need them."

Nook pulled out and tossed the notebooks he threatened the villagers with the other day into the inferno that was the former furniture monument.

"Let's do our best, you bastards, upupu~"

Pierce silently left the courtroom and slammed the door behind him. He went straight home.

Jeez, that was heartbreaking. There were so many 'if onlys', I lost sleep over them the night I PMed this with Kamak. Sucks to leave so early. I had lots of fun getting in character, it was a disappointment to have it end so early.

I'll be watching you guys, though~ And who knows, I might make a return as an NPC if the GM needs me (and I hope that's needed because I'd love to participate in some way)! Best of luck to everyone.

Also, if that daisies turkey serves up venison in the next few days, be careful...

one final edit because who gives a shit I'm already dead: Don't worry Marcato, if there's a Super Dangan Crossing 2, Diana will make a return. Sort of to clean the slate and all that. (of course it won't technically be the same person but i really like this villager she's my favorite and playing as anyone else would feel wrong unu)

"You better hope that you can burn all your secrets away as quickly as you did ours, Nook, for I will unearth every one you have hidden in this hellhole. And once I've obtained all the knowledge of your hidden business, I'll use it to kill you."

Joe turns around, and walks to his house.

When he arrives at his house, he sits down in his nest of pillows and blankets.

"Omigod, omigod, omigod, I actually carried a conversation with a group of people today! And I sounded so hardcore, too!" thought Joe as he rolled around on his nest. He stopped and looked down at the floor. "But why did Diana have to die, why can't this just be a good day? Why does it have to be marred with the death of good, innocent people? I mean, Bud did try to murder me, but can he really be blamed? It's all that Tom Nook's fault that we're in a murder game. He will pay for their deaths- ah, who am I kidding. It's my fault they're both dead." Joe got up from his nest and walked outside.

Joe opens the door to the town hall and asks, "Hey, do any of you know where Bud's corpse is? It has something I need."

"I'm sorry, but the corpse has already been... collected. If you need any information, I'll be glad to assist. Tomorrow, of course, because...

*ding dong*

"It's nighttime, you bastards. You know the drill. You really ought to sleep tonight. You must be exhausted. I only care for your well-being."

You all head to home, sleep may not come easy tonight.

NIGHT 4

Nook's Nighttime Corner

"It's not easy being a realtor."

"Sometimes I think, maybe I'd be better off at doing something else."

"But, we're all born with the skills we'll carry for the rest of our lives."

"And try as I might, I'm most suited to being a realtor."

"But that doesn't ease the fact that sometimes I wish I could achieve more."

"Then again, what realtor would be in the position I currently am?"

"I guess there's nothing wrong with being who you are, but if you want to achieve a new goal, you'll have to realize that maybe you don't have what it takes to achieve it. Maybe it's better to stick to what you're good at and know."
