Today we had literacy tests uuuugh. We have to pass the literacy test to graduate from high school here. If you don't get over 70%, you don't pass. I mean I'm sure I passed, even maybe aced it, but holy shit they were just drilling the practice stuff onto us for the last couple of weeks.

Also, I really don't like my Science teacher :I. She thinks that all that "structure of learning" stuff really works. I mean, I know some of it really does, but she just hits us over the head with that crap over and over. "LET'S ORGANIZE OUR IDEAS ONTO A CHART. LET'S REVIEW THIS INFORMATION. LET'S LOOK UP RANDOM DEFINITIONS. MORE CHARTS AND REVIEWS YAAAAY." Plus, she made us do this survey thing which shows which type of learning your receive the best. She made an average of the results, and the highest result was "Kinesthetic". Of course, she bases everything on this, even though not all students scored as high in that section. We have tons of labs, and she keeps saying stuff like "okay, let's pass this object around so you can touch and feel it."

Okay yeah enough ranting about her. About the graduation here, we also need 40 hours of community service to graduate. Plus, did you know the scoring system is different in Canada?

<50% = F
50-59% = D
60-69% = C
70-79% = B
80-100% = A

So yeah basically we have it easier than you guys :U
