Ah, right I thought he meant the planets were bigger than the sun or something. I wasn't thinking about scaling the distances between them though, just the sizes. Although it would still be impractical I wanted to see what it would look like, probably should have clarified that.

Do you know Celestia? It's kinda like what Willow posted, but in 3D and to scale. Also you can reach distant stars and other galaxies (though there isn't much to see in other galaxies). I think my college used it for astronomy classes.

It looks like frozen strawberry mesh that has started to melt.

I can imagine that to be really painful. Note to self: Stay out of Australia (home of the snakes).

I remember that my senior year, I was bored one night and wanted to make cupcakes, but I didn't want to share them with dad because he'd bodaciously eat a dozen in one night.

My school had a policy that you couldn't bring in food like that and share it unless it was for a project.

So I made a periodic table up to Argon, using different colored writing icing to put all of the info on them.

I showed up to school and told my teacher that this was for a "project", and she just laughed and let us spend that class day eating cupcakes as we studied for the test the next day.

Carbon was pretty tasty.

Map over cyber attacks

A very interesting project! Red dots are attackers. Yellow dots are honeypots. Honeypots are servers that fake services to attract attackers. When the attackers attempt to get into the system, the server reports data about the attempt to a master server and the map shows attacks as a live feed.

That's pretty interesting. I'm not surprised by the origins of most of those attacks.
