AWKWARD ZOMBIE

Seeing an opening in the werewolves form Marcus hurled a couple a fireballs at the beast and charged foward.
Geo wanted to help but he had neither a weapon or any powers of his own. He quickly went to find a hiding place.

(Are the werewolves in the same tower that Zephiur is in? I saw the thing about yellow feathers and remembered the equine dropping feathers here and there)

Zephiur arched a brow at her descriptions of the slain adventurers. He felt like he was reasonably well-trained with his pistols and the weapon he built into his mechanical frame: a long, slender minigun-like turret that slides out the back of his mechanical shoulder and then wraps around on top to become shoulder-mounted. This turret, once deployed, can move with a full 360 degree range of motion; when used in tandem with Zephiur's goggles, he can "lock on" to targets and have the turret auto-fire at them while he focuses his attention on more pressing targets. However, since all of his weaponry draws from his Reactor for their shots, using both pistols alongside his turret is usually a last resort option, and bringing out his turret is usually reserved for when he is without pistols. "I'd like to think I'm reasonably well-equipped," he said slowly, "but if what you say is true, then maybe I should stick to the tower." He stood up and scratched his head, dislodging his hat slightly, but re-adjusting it and crossing his arms. "Includin' this "Andy" you referred to earlier?" he asked, voice low and drawling.

--Apologies for not showing up yesterday. I got swamped with the highschool rivalry game and couldn't make it home until now.--

The Shaman looked Alec over, nodding slowly to himself, "Yes, but no. I wanted to see if you where who I thought you were, and you are." She said while a couple of Kobolds poked at the large fire.

The werewolf looked just in time to receive a healthy face full of fire, causing it to stagger backwards and swing his claw blindly at Marcus, which actually made contact and send him down the stairs.

--Yes, yes they are.--

The equine shook her head, "No. Andy's the guy who's responsible for this whole place. He's the one that caused the whole mess that brought all of this stuff into here, now he's trying to keep more crap from getting in here." She said, packing the swords into a satchel on her side. "Andy's the last guy I'd expect to die out here and, hold the phone. Did you hear that?" As she asked that, the faint sound of a small explosion could be heard from the first floor of the tower.

"AUGH!" The claw definitely took the wind out of Marcus as he was sent sprawling down the stairs. After going down a few flights Marcus managed to stop himself from falling any further. His body was bruised and battered and he could barely stand up. "Great. I'm hurt, that THING is still up there and it's hard to stand up straight." Marcus began limping up to where the battle was taking place. "I should've just stuck to throwing fireballs.
Geo was up above trying to hide from the werewolf, but his body was frozen staring at the creature. Marcus definitely hit on target, he may have even blinded the beast for good measure. Geo decided to help out, but needed to grab a weapon first.

Zephiur heard it too, and narrowed his eyes. Without a second thought, he drew his pistols and started running at the previously shattered window, which conveniently happened to be facing the center of the tower, and dove through it, angling downward, arms akimbo as if he were parachuting, and as he hurtled closer he noticed a big hairy beast that seemed to be attacking two.. humans? It was certainly refreshing to see more of his kind here, but that had to be saved for later. He flipped in midair to reposition himself, sending his right foot straight down and slamming the metal plating straight into the beast's back and forcing it to the ground. Zephiur used the momentum of his fall to jump off and over the kid, flipping a few times to slow his momentum, before landing behind them and whirling around and aiming his pistols at the beast. "I suggest you two take cover." he said as his coattails whirled around him back into place.

Marcus just arrived when a strange man appeared and fell the werewolf to the ground. The man quickly told Marcus and Geo to take cover. Marcus was going to make a snarky comeback when he noticed the pair of pistols the man was brandishing. "A bunch of bruises and a bullet wound? No thanks." Marcus turned his attention to Geo "Yo Geo!" Geo turned his head.
"Marcus?" Geo went to him. "Jesus man, you're pretty hurt."
"Yeah well that things strength plus a flight of stairs will do that to you. I suggest we got out of the way." Marcus looked at the man with the pistols. and started moving out of his way.

Seeing the Werewolf is stunned, perhaps blinded, Brandon takes a chance.
He runs behind the Werewolf and jumps on it's back, doing whatever he can to get him away from other people.

Zephiur snarls, jerking with one of his pistols. "Get off 'im! I got a good shot here!" he says, already firing up the Reactor and loading his pistols with the fire energy that he's been drawing on. The grips and the revolver chambers in his pistols start to glow a soft red, and his fingers are poised to pull the trigger, if only that whack-job would move out of the way.

The equine looked out the window at the scene below, catching Zephiur's landing, after which, she followed suit, jumping out and making her way down the same way she climbed up.

The werewolf panicked, he didn't expect this much resistance. In a hurry, he grabbed Brandon by his shirt and threw him at Zephiur before retreating up the stairs.

"who do you think I am?" Alec asked. As far as he knew he wasn't anything special.

Brandon braced himself for impact.

Marcus looked at the beast's escape. After the danger was over and the werewolf gone he laid down on the floor. His body was still pretty beat up from the fall down the stairs. "Thank god that that's over." Marcus looked above to see a golden horse flying down. "Hey does anyone else see the golden flying pony or did I just get brain damage?"
Geo looked up up to see the same thing. "I see it too Marcus. Are you okay?"
"I'm just reaaaaaaaally sore everywhere."

Zephiur's eyes widened at the unexpected counterattack and was caught off guard. Before he could react, the man slammed into him, knocking him down and back a few feet, just stopping at the edge of the platform they were on. He rolled the man off of him gently and groaned a bit, getting to his feet and then sheathing his pistols. "S'long as it's not attacking, we should be alright." he said, dusting off his coat and watching the equine come down. "Don't suppose you can tell us what that was, can ya?" he asks.

"Yeah, what exactly just happened? Oh, and sorry for getting in your way, sir. I got caught up in the moment and wanted to help."

The Shaman started to root around in a pile of herbs next to him, "I think you are one of many who will shift the delicate balance between chaos and order in this place. Although which side it shifts to, few will know, and fewer will want to find out." He plucked a few odd looking herbs from the pile and looked back at Alec. "There is someone who can explain better then I can, if you are willing to listen."

The equine gently floated down, looking and the three boys and the Shifter, "I can't say I can, I shouldn't be surprised, given who's been showing up around town lately." She said, looking around, her eyes catching sight of the disaster that is-"My office!" She rushed inside, turning on the lights.
