He's having us do the bibliography in MLA format

And he's having us cite all the sources in our other essays for tests and stuff in chicago.

Gooooood times.

Also all the test essays are given before the tests for this reason, and have to be submitted the day of the tests...meaning he's not necessarily teaching us about the essay topics...because he hasn't taught it yet by the time he issues the essays...which means we can barely have time to write the essays before the test comes up

Use eye contact, gender, and decapitation (i.e. women have their faces shown less and their individual body parts shown more in that paper and it's not so bad.

But it was more of a time saving thing than anything. I'm pretty good at doing bibliographies by now. It's just the ridiculousness of the thing, y'know?

Also I sorta hate that every time I am assigned a research paper, the goal is to learn how to do one.

I've been writing research papers since seventh grade, assuming it was so I could know how to do them for college.

Now it seems that college is preparing me further to write them when I am a renowned scientist or some such shit.
