Fruity drinks are easily accessible since they are so sweet, it takes some getting used to the bitter taste of strong beers to appreciate them, like getting used to the burn of strong liquors before you can taste them (although higher quality liquors generally burn less).

I find most beer has a horrible aftertaste. But that might just be American beer.

If we have a tinychat drinking party for new years, I'll drink alcohol. It's been about 9 months since I've turned 21 and I think it's time.

i really like hard cider and screwdrivers. it's funny, before i was 21, i absolutely abhorred alcohol. now i rather like it. but i can't drink rum or tequila. rum makes me feel really hot and tequila just makes me sick.

I like rum (by itself and in Coke). And mead, and every wine I've tried so far. Haven't tried anything besides those three kinds of drinks. Haven't really had a reason to drink recently, though. I only like to when I'm hanging out with friends who drink. Well, that's also the only time that I have solid access to it. But even if I were 21, that would still be the case.

haw nah single malt is usually a bit more expensive so I don't know, I'm assuming you're a cheap booty. I like laphroaig and glenfiddich, but they might be a bit heavy if you don't do whiskey much?

Teachers is a bit cheaper, blended scotch instead of single malt, bit lighter too but still nice.
