Your challenge is to write crossover fanfiction combining A-Team and Malcolm in the Middle. The story should use good characters becoming evil as a plot device!

He sat there crying, absolutely devastated by the horrors that took place in the household. Police officers had investigated the walls, rooms and basement and didn’t find a single trace of the killer. He was nowhere to be found. “I-I just don’t know what to think anymore. I couldn’t believe Malcolm did this. First there was killing Reese behind our backs, then he stole all the cheddar out of my bank account, and Lois…I don’t even know where she is anymore. I don’t know what he did with her. I-I guess he just couldn‘t take all the teasing anymore. Oh God, why didn‘t I see the signs sooner?!” Hal explained in slow detail as he still couldn’t contain his tears from the sadness.
The police chief heard his pleas and explanations and just stood puzzled. Malcolm was a genius boy after all and there was no doubt that how cunning he was that he would get away with something like this. The police chief didn’t know him personally, but judging by what the kid had done earlier on in the years in his gifted child’s classes, it wouldn’t surprise him in the slightest that Malcolm would be capable of this. “Well sir, we may not have found anything here, but we will continue our search for the boy throughout the city. The crime just happened 24 hours ago. And even though he’s old enough to commit such terrible crimes, he still isn’t legally able to drive and he didn’t take your car. He couldn’t have gotten far.” Hal looked up at him in slight but gleaming hope. “Thank you, s-sir.” he said weakly as he wiped the sadness from his eyes.
“Sorry about your misfortune. Don’t worry. Malcolm will pay for what he has done. I guarantee it.”

Later that night, Hal was tucked away in his bed all alone for the first time for longer than he could remember. Then, there was a large thump at the front door, as if a large rock hit it. Hal jumped out of bed in fear and heard a loud voice shout through.
“
Come on out, fool! It’s the police!”
Hal walked downstairs and towards the front door, but grabbed an umbrella at the stand at the bottom of the stairs to defend himself in case the visitor was lying. He raised it above his head as if he was about to strike and he slowly turned the knob on the door. There stood a black man in a police uniform along with the police chief that Hal had talked to earlier that day. “Oh officer, it’s you. I’m sorry about this.” Hal said relieved putting the umbrella down. “It’s awfully late, but did you find out anything about Malcolm?”
The police chief looked at his partner and they both chuckled. “Better than that.” The black officer then whistled, and two other men came out from behind the bushes (also in uniform) and had Malcolm gagged with a handkerchief and restrained in a straitjacket. “We’ve caught him.” Hal saw his son, confined to the jacket, relieved that the madness was finally over. “You’ll also be pop flyin' to know that all of the cheddar that Malcolm took out of your bank account has been returned safe and sound. Lois had been confirmed to be somewhere in the city alive and unharmed, but we’re still on the look out for her.” The police chief handed Hal an envelope with the cheddar inside, then looked back at the two men holding Malcolm calm and ordered them to take Malcolm in the back of their van until they were finished talking to Hal. Malcolm put up a fight getting in there, but the two men made sure that Malcolm got in there.
The black officer headed back, muttering something about their new capture and how he pitied him. “Thank you officer for all your help.” Hal thanked sincerely. “But I do have two more things I want to know. How did you catch him so quickly and how did you deduce the crime he committed so quickly?”
“Well as far as how we found out what he did, we had some help from Malcolm’s older brother Francis. Turns out Malcolm was crazy enough to call him after the crimes he committed. He said he wanted to know if he was ‘impressed’ by what Malcolm had done. Then Francis gave us a call. He thought Malcolm was a big enough threat to your family and security that he called upon us personally.”
“OK, but what about how you caught him so quickly?”
The police chief turned back to the van with his fellow officers and said “Open the envelope and find out.” Hal opened the envelope quickly to see all the cheddar that was stolen was there, but there was also a sheet of paper there. The sheet of paper read the following:
“
You’re probably wondering how we caught this criminal so quickly.
You’re probably wondering how we knew exactly where to catch him and do so efficiently.
You’re probably wondering who we are.
The answer’s simple. You may have heard of us:
We’re the A-Team.”
Hal looked up and remembered that alias before. He had heard of a group of soldiers for hire a few years ago who went under the same name. He saw the police chief take off his hat which revealed him to be the leader, John “Hannibal” Smith himself. Hal stood speechless and shocked as he dropped the sheet of paper. John looked at Hal before leaving and signaled a “hush” motion with his finger over his lips to indicate that they were never there. Hal nodded his head in agreement. John then lit up a cigar before driving the van off Hal’s property.
Hal was glad this was all over.

Malcolm struggled in the back of the van as John’s team members, Baracus, Murdock, and Faceman just watched him squirm. “Look at that sorry piece of work.” Baracus snarked at their prisoner.
“Yeah, at least he’s not causing that man any more stress.” Face commented.
“So, should we do it now, John?” Murdock asked eagerly with a devilish grin on his face. This easily caught Malcolm’s attention as his eyes widened.
John took the cigar out of his mouth for a second and replied “I don’t see why not.”
20 minutes later…
John was driving down a long empty back road at 60 MPH, with Malcolm chained to the back of the van being drug along the road. Malcolm, still gagged, was muttering in utter pain. The boys in the back of the van were yelling and screaming in pure amusement. But this didn’t last much longer. They got off the back road and as they were about to pass the police station, Murdock detached the chain hook from the back of the van and Malcolm was left down on the road, battered and bruised in front of the police station, helpless to stop any officers to take him into custody. Two police officers walked out of the station after seeing the van pass by and saw Malcolm laying on the asphalt. They picked him up and noticed he had a note taped to his jacket. They removed the tape to find a confessional note and a phone number of Hal along with evidence on the note to prove Malcolm was the culprit for all of his crimes should the need arise.
