I don't get it. Did you not read the rest of his post or are you agreeing with him?
He said "art is in the eye of the beholder" and then "it just looks bad to me". But it doesn't have to look good to be artistic. Beauty isn't a prerequisite of art.

I'd not heard of this Bleedman person until now.

Good quality stuff, but not seeing anything really mind-blowing in his gallery.

I guess the pageviews are down to the high ratio of Fan Art in his gallery.


The thing that really gets me the most about dA is the continuous stream of attempts by people to make a new dA meme. Also, dA memes generally.

There are *a lot* of really bad ideas for dA memes.

Art is in the "Eye of the Beholder".
Basically, your opinion.
Then he did just that by stating his "opinion"

He didn't say that to say it has to look good to be artistic.

He means bad as in not well done or interesting in his opinion, not necessarily aesthetically.

The loli stuff is pretty creepy, but his stuff is just too shiny and desu for me to like. I just don't think it's very inspired.
