I liked Avatar Kyoshi more than Roku.

I don't know why, maybe she just felt more important in regards to story than him.

But Roku is the one who ended up mentoring Aang through the last half of the story?

Oh God Avatar yes. Not a childhood obsession, but it was like my favorite show. My dad would watch it with me and marvel over the artwork and it was like the only show my brother and I could agree on and yessss

I remember the first special (Day of the Black Sun or sommat) I convinced my dad to let me best friend stay over 'til nine so we could watch it together

also WHY IS EVERYONE FORGETTING UNCLE IROH!?

"The answers you look for are inside yourself" is totally the best mentoring ever.

I felt sad when I saw Kyoshi's statue burn, the coy-riding episode was a fun one and the environment just turned so bleak so fast.

Iroh was my favourite character by far. I always really liked him, he never *felt* evil from the beginning, so it was great to see him [spoiler]rebel[/spoiler]
