With the monster outed and subsequently dead, that's one less threat that we have to worry about on the ship.

Shame about Chinmaster though--BUT if I'm being honest with myself, he didn't have long to live anyway, so I guess this is one of the better-case scenarios.


But I do have something that I wanted to tell the crew, because it affects myself and our team: I'm the ex-marine. I know that I drew some attention to myself yesterday, so I figured it was a matter of time before I got investigated.

It's most likely that Angelic offed Chinmaster and the mafia offed Angelic. I doubt they would waste their Assassin this soon.

Also if someone wants to dispute Cori's claim, now would be the time to do so. Otherwise, I think we should assume it to be the truth for now.

You're definitely right about someone other than the traitors killing Angelic, looking at the class descriptions it says the assassin's kill counts as the whole group's kill for the night.

Somethin occurred to me. I do trust Cori somewhat, but wouldn't it make sense for the mafia to have targeted him last night? Of course, they could have attacked someone else in order to draw suspicions towards him. This is confusing.

Last night I was protected by the petty officer, so if I had been targeted I would have been safe.

Yea, but you weren't targeted is what I'm saying. The mafia didn't even try to off you. I personally think they did it to draw suspicion towards you though and believe that you're innocent. But still, I'm still going to post about it to at least share my thoughts and get some kind of conversation going for our next course of action.

Perhaps we're overthinking it. Every honest sailor (har!) we lose is a blow to us. It may be simple as that.

It's the typical first day dilemma. No one's done anything suspicious, and we can't use yesterday's votes for captain because Cori's role is independent, we don't know who Marcato is, and the fact that Angelic was the monster doesn't aid in analyzing her vote since hers was an independent role as well.

We're in a pickle.

We can start randomly asking people interrogation based questions.

So... Angelic was killed. Presumably by the Traitors.
Chin was killed. I guess Angelic is the only one who could have since I think the Cook's ability couldn't activate until tonight. Might be wrong about the cook.
And Benson was seduced while Cori was protected.
