"Wouldnt you rather not know the animal you're about to murder, sucker?" He spit a small stream of water at the bandaged puppy. "In anay case, I'm Octavian, if you were all wondering."

"Now, now," Cranston applied, spreading his arms out between the two, "we mustn't lose faith in our fellow people at a time like this. No need for any talk of murder; I'm sure there's something we can do to fix the situation. I'm Cranston, a Tabellarius of the Great Fire Bird in the Sky. Are there any other feathers among us?"

"I'm Punchy, it's... uh... n-nice to meet you, I guess..."

"Good to meet you, rookies! I'm Pierce, founder of the Eaglette Corporation."

"I'm Coco. I'm terrible with names, but I hope we can all be friends, doyoing..."

Punchy calms down, and mats down his fur. "So, I guess we've got to stay together... or..."

Diana seems to have calmed down from the recent events. "Diana Natalia, call me by my first name, please."
"It's getting late, perhaps we should go to bed once everyone's introduced themselves. But...I think it might be a good idea if we meet at the town center in the morning. Any objections?" She asked coolly.

Pierce gives Diana a quizzical expression and folds his arms.

"Meet in the center of town? What for, hawkeye?"

Cranston grinned. "Hah! Yes, I suppose so. The Phoenix does celebrate the unity of all creatures. Are you a feather of The Phoenix, sweatband?"

"Oh, you know, to keep tabs on each other, sort of, and share anything we might have learned about this town. I'm not saying we should stay like that all day, but here with the large tree seems good a place as any, no doy." Diana assumes a thoughtful stance.
