Maaaaybeeee.....

Guys should learn to exercise a little more self control in that department? And maybe hijabs wont be necessary?

In many parts of America a hijab is just as, if not more, likely to get you negative attention for appearing shamelessly foreign somehow. That's aside from the fact that someone doesn't deserve negative attention over clothes.

The Hajib is not a matter of necessity. It's a religious garment. Like the Jewish yamaka/kippah (that's the skull cap for those of you wondering) A lot of women wear it by choice as an expression of faith like a Christian would wear a cross. Not because they are afraid of men.

That's why that particular comic is dumb. Neither of those women should feel bad for what they wear, nor should they feel self righteous.

Also I concur with Wry.

I think its pretty stylish tbh. Id want to wear one sometime. Although, havent i heard that back in old times it was often the best idea to shield onesself from the sun in the desert? I have a feeling it was a garment mostly used to keep water in the body and not in the desert air until folks recognized it as a religious icon.

Sort of like how Chinese immigrants setting up rice paddy fields back in 300 BC in Japan turned the fox into a deity because they saw them eating the mice in their fields. Sort of like that :/

I don't know anything about Chinese fox deities being 'worshipped' but... actually I'm not sure what point you were trying to make with that.

I'm guessing you mean that something that used to be practical got a lot of importance placed on it until it entered folklore or became religious.

dA fame will never obtained if you can not draw gay men or boners.
