A couple weeks back, I had the same thing happen to me. It rained hard so the streets were covered with water, especially near the side walk. I got intentionally splashed by a guy in a car with who I assume was his girlfriend, then about a minute later another car decided to purposely drive over the water. I was so soaked it looked like I just fell into a pool.
I just have really bad luck I guess.

So I went to a vendor event today with my sister and mother and even made some decent sales actually. At this event you pay 20 dollars to get in so you can shop, take part in a raffle, have lunch, and see a fashion show because those things go together. Usually the lunches are pretty good, stuff I would go to a restaurant for even. They've done chicken parmigiana and chicken kiev before, both really good and both my sister and I were looking forward to possibly having. What always bothered me though is that they don't ever actually tell anyone what the lunch will actually be.
Today's lunch was a salad. That's it, just a salad. It was practically nothing. And I'd like to point out that every other time they served their lunches WITH a salad. They planned this event for over a month, they planned to have a team of professional chefs in a well-stocked kitchen make lunch for some guests and all they made was a slightly bigger than appetizer-sized, very much non-noteworthy salad. I was feeling hungry all day and all there was was a daisies salad.
20 bucks for a salad.
Other, actually pretty mild annoyances:
To ensure people look at all vendor stalls, event-goers are given a card that they need to get all vendors to sign before they can enter in the raffle. Each vendor was given a number, and had to sign on their numbered box on the card. Apparently the other vendors there needed to take a trip to Sesame Street and pay The Count a visit because it was too hard for them to match numbers together and they kept signing on my daisies number.
Customers constantly asking questions that can easily be solved by having a sense of vision.
My sister and mother constantly not letting me talk when a customer had an "actual" question.
Them moving the change box out of my reach and skillfully blocking me from it.
How fucking long is this fashion show

The chairs were decorated with actually really pretty large bows and I kind of wanted to ask if I could keep one and I'm disappointed with myself that I didn't. I kind of wanted to see if I could wrap one around my waist.

Gay Space is notorious for the number of mosquitoes infesting the place. :eng101:

Where can you go that there are NO mosquitoes but it is still habitable, I wonder?

Made some nachos for a snack. First bite I take, a jalapeno slice irritates my throat, and when I cough, a seed lodges itself in my nasal passage. Seriously, fuck you body

My parents are boycotting TLC(if you call two people deciding not to watch that channel a "boycott") because now that 19 Kids and Counting has been cancelled, there's nothing on there but shows about gypsies and polygamy and that's just not good family programming.

I worry about these people.

TLC hasn't had good family programming in about 10 years.

Education doesnt draw ratings, shows about rednecks and fat children does. It is exactly the channel that America asked for

Wait, so your parents are sad that a reality show starring a man who was revealed to have fiddled with children when he was younger was canned?
And at the same time dislike everything else on TLC that's worse than that show itself? (obviously not worse than what he did though)

I keep having nightmares about doing badly in PE lately even though I haven't had PE since 2012.

I love this forum, but I wish that it would require you to say your sex when you sign up. Like man, woman, or other type thing. I never know what pronoun to use with people on here without having to dig into past posts until I find a post where they mentioned it.
