Quantum Lock. The state they are in when you look at them is the state that they are in permanently. They can't ever change from that state, they are bodaciously locked in time, nothing you can do will affect them in any way.

EDIT: Actually, Decker, they lose their form if starved of energy, remember? (Granted, it takes almost forever to do that, but, hey.)

hells yeah you should man, I've been putting it off for maybe a year now, but so far I've seen about 4 or 5 episodes (admittedly 3 of them were about weeping angels but still.) and it's one of my favorite shows now.

The lifespan of a person with this disease is 35-40 years.
