There are so many things i want to start doing but every time i actually start doing it i lose interest and stop, and for the next hour i'm like 'you really should start doing that'.

I got a lovely scowl from my mother today when she found out that I bought, *GASP*, a HEADSET. And it has, *GASP*, a MICROPHONE ATTACHMENT.

I am dead serious.

She is crabby at me over that. Because she's convinced that all I only bought it to use for those EEEEEEEVIL video games. Because there is no other possible application for a microphone.

My parents weren't TOO bad, but my mom was pretty hardcore Catholic (she's eased up, now) so there was always the chance the pope would say Roller Coaster Tycoon was evil or something. I was super relieved when the old man seemed to like Pokemon.

my mom was an og 80s gamer so she understood that you can't sometimes just pause a game to go eat/do laundry/etc

now, she had her issues, but thankfully that wasn't one of them

my dad however is so stuck in the 30s i'm surprised his pants aren't up to his chin
