That first quote is incorrect.

A good majority of "gamerz!" probably don't give a rats booty about the fanservice of a game. They pick games based on reliable titles, gameplay, genre, and graphics (to a lesser extent).

The ones complaining about sex are the minority, and chances are the people defending advertisers for using sex are not the same as the people who are getting angry at the "epic supermodel gamer nerd."
