Impossible, unfortunately. I've been trying for months.

Nah, I know the feeling. Stuff feels like it'll never get better, stuff will always be horrible, I can relate to that, I guess. Now I'm no beacon of wisdom by any means, but in my experience, the good thing about life is that, well, there's infinite chances and possibilities. One of the the steps in finding happiness is letting go of your sorrows, or at least coming to terms with them.

Fall in love with someone else, is what I've been trying to do. Or distance yourself so much that the love fades, which I can't bring myself to do yet. Maybe you can though?

This is assuming that the love is unrequited/causing more harm than good.

well it's not like it's harming anything, per se, I just. i'm tired of loving people who don't live me back. Ugggh this is dumb.

Find people whom will feel genuine feelings for you.

mainly just distance yourself, I guess. talk to different people, find things to keep your mind off of it.

no i don't want to distance myself, he's one of my best friends. I just want a love off switch. I don't even want to be in love with anyone.

Try to focus more on your own life, what you want to do and whatever goals you want to accomplish.

If you don't have goals, make some up. As long as the goal isn't "to make so-and-so love me", you should be able to focus your mind on what you can do to make yourself pop flyin' instead of things that you can't control. It's what I'm trying to do. It doesn't completely eclipse the heart but it's moving in the right direction, at least.

because he is super great. he is funny and kind and he doesn't judge me and he's really supportive and also cute and i really want to hug him he looks really huggable.

one thing is i am a dumb internet baby and he lives in canada, so technically we have not hung out

but we talk most days or at least have like a brief chat, and i've know him since........shit. like. late last year? last winter, i think.
