I doubt they are joking, it certainly does seem like the majority of Tumblr's users are mentally ill or at least neuroatypical in some manner.

I still play Old School Runescape

Ahh, yes, Runescape, Without this game I wouldn't be who you all know me as today.

bodaciously, I got my name from the game, It's evolved to Tetrunes now, but hey, roots are roots.

I played Runescape mostly to bake and cook stuff. I was so pop flyin' when I finally entered the Cook's Guild.

Anyway, funny pictures (comics).

Jagex has actually been putting effort into making Runescape not-awful. And people are still going "But I remember playing when it was more awful than this I hate change" and other shenanigans.

Yeah, but those people want the nostalgia. Maybe different combat mechanics and lack of a global marketplace but mostly the grafix and chat.

I kind'a missed the whole Runescape craze.

I only really got around to trying it after having played Mabinogi for three years.


It wasn't my cup of tea.

I tried it out, seemed like a grindfest. Then a friend told me you should use a bot for the grinding and occasionally there are fun quests. So I played a game that was nothing but quests instead.
