Youtube now supports 60 fps (on Chrome) and 1080p on Android. The latter is a pretty big thing for me as I do more than half of my video watching on my tablet nowadays and an arbitrary resolution limit was annoying.

Dunno if this got posted in here before but here is a music video with stellar rotoscoping animation. I think the animators are either ex-disney or they worked for Don Bluth, the style is very Don Bluth. I'm kinda eh on the music but I can't stop watching the animation.

Gonna throw in like a general epilepsy warning though because there are a lot of bright flashing lights and it was even making me feel disoriented at one point.

Also it's way better when viewed fullscreen

That music video took tumblr completely by storm

Like bodaciously a whole fandom for the characters sprang up within a day



I think it's cute (love the music!) and it has an interesting story in the video
but idk I'm just not super fond of the art style or the flash animation ¯\_(ツ)_/¯


...actually it reminds me of Kappa Mikey
