Playing some Prince would normally make anything want to fuck anything, but it might just make them sad now tho.

Just a couple minutes ago, I went outside to look for my niece's cat. She was let out this morning with the puppies, not very long ago.

I found her, stiff and cold, with blood staining her fur. I'm sure one of the neighborhood dogs did it, but it's odd, because she doesn't look like they tried to eat her. Then again, they did kill two of my sister's goats, and it seemed they did it for the hell of it. I'm gonna wait for my parents to leave, and take the kids with them before I bury the cat.

It pisses me off, because I was this cat's favorite person. Which seems to be a trend. The cats like me, then something happens to them.

Where did you find the cat? If it was outside your neighbor's yard, what the hell are those dogs doing loose? They're clearly dangerous--I'd be tempted to call the police or animal control. If only someone had seen the cat/those goats get attacked.

When the goat was attacked, it was in our front yard, well within twenty feet of the front door.

I found the car just past one side of our driveway, but still on our property. There's a good sixty to eighty feet from that spot to the edge of the property.

She was cold, but the side on the ground was still warm.

Those dogs have no business being on your property, unsupervised or otherwise. Your neighbor could have serious charges pressed against them.

The problem is, I have no real idea which dog lives where. The dogs all just roam all over the area.

I don't live in a suburban area; now that leaves are back on the trees, we can't see any of the houses around us, though the closest is within fifty yards of my house.

I don't think any of the dogs around here, except ours, wear collars, and even if they do, I haven't seen any tags. Nor did I see which dog did it. It could have been one of our dogs, for all I actually know. However, only once have I seen that dog attack another animal. Hell, she lets my cat eat from the same bowl as her while she's eating.

It's because dogs are pack animals.

What really bugs me is, there were three vehicles nearby, any one of which she could have gotten under, and two would have been much too low for a large dog to follow her. She could also have climbed a tree. However, she had been living with our dogs for several months, and didn't act scared of them. So that might be why she didn't run.

Cats didn't have water all day because one of them shut the toilet, and the cats only ever drink water out of the toilet or the shower for some weird reason.

I'm sorely tempted to take a day off from work and wait for them to come onto the property. I thought for a moment of using my new rifle on them, but there's a couple problems with that.

The scope hasn't been adjusted, meaning I could miss, or not get a clean kill with the first shot. Also, there's not a whole lot of clear sight lines that are very long.

Further... It's a .308, meaning it's DEFINITELY going to go through. My 9mm hollow points would do that, and they don't have the same punch.

It'd be much better to just wait and use my M9 at a closer range, where I know the angle will be enough to go through and into the ground instead of someone's house.

Half-joke aside, my experience with my current cat seems to tell me he does not like food or water that has been sitting around for a while, so I tend to have to replace it and give it in small portions whenever I pass by.
