idk it's really frustrating how much botting goes on on ebay that just snipes the shit out of anything with one bid and less than a minute til it ends

Holy SHIT how do people not understand how roundabouts work? Is it so alien a concept? You see someone in the loop, you stop. You don't, you FUCKING GO.

Because roundabouts are the worst thing ever created. If there's 4 or less roads coming together there's no reason to not just make it an intersection, and if there are 5 or more roads coming together, then you've fucked up city planning and need to give up. There is no clear right of way unless you are the literal only person at the roundabout, and even if you know how to use the roundabout, you have to worry about all the other idiots who don't and stop short or aren't paying attention when they come into the circle.

They're awful and I'm pretty sure are a illegal form of torture.

I went to Britain once which driving around is basically Roundabouts: The Experience, and I thought roundabouts are quite lovely. Wasn't driving but they seemed good.

Also according to the museum I went to they're good for medium traffic which doesn't warrant a light but has too much for a stopsign.

The issue is that a lot of the time in the U.S, they're put in areas that are either too tight a fit for the roundabout, or they're too congested, making each one an anxiety-inducing carousel from hell.

I am not that averse to left turns, thank you.

I just updated my computer for like, 2 hours and nothing noticeable changed, it won't even show me the update logs for some reason.

Lost internet for some amount of time and the final 3 missions in Halo 4 never registered as completed.

Keep having stomach problems, either due to anxiety or something else. I can't handle stomach problems at all, so I usually miss out on work when they happen, like today.

Some people have a weird morbid curiosity and like seeing that stuff. I guess they just assume everyone is like that. A friend once showed me a video of a diving accident and it still messes with me sometimes when I think about it.

Yeah, friend showed me a Canadian PSA on accident prevention. I don't know if the lady was supposed to die or just be horribly disfigured, but they did a good job of making the screams sound real. God.

The Quebec Commission for Health and Security at Work did some quite gruesome TV ads about ten years ago. There was one where a guy was crushed to death by a garbage (?) compactor because the operator wasn't paying attention, and another one where a worker got his sleeve stuck in a conveyor belt and stuggled to free it and noone around him could hear his screams because of the ambient noise and it handed with his hand being horribly crushed.
Someone made a parody of the last one that's quite faithful to the original (the real one faded to black right after the guy's finger gets bended backwards).

Well they got the message across to me. Saw the one about the chef who slips on the grease and pours boiling oil on herself. Fun.
