Yesterday at work was incredibly terrible. We weren't busy or anything, we just got the crusty shit scrapings of society in the store ALL DAY. I had to mop up after entire families who just dump icee everywhere, I had to clean up after kids and - worse - parents who would just pick stuff up and drop it on the fucking floor, and

GODDAMN
PEOPLE
who would just drop or dump something that breaks and would leave it without a word. Surprise! There's a jar of pickles shattered in the corner. How long has it been there? I have no idea, but the entire store smells like it's been years!

I had to mop the daisies place at least 10 times. Usually I mop once or twice per shift.



TOday was okay, though. Got paid to drive out of state for training. Picked up two cases of Yuengling (can't buy it in Kentucky) while I was in WV. It was like a paid beer run.

Celebrity: "You know, I'm starting to feel like maybe America isn't the greatest country in the world."

It's absolutely unbearable how media can cover so much and still present such a narrow view of the world. Showing off and making huge fiascos out of all of this negative crap just makes people more negative, and sometimes they don't even realize it. They'll speak out against racism but form their own stereotypes against others. They'll cry out for gun control and make the mentally ill who commit these murders look like degenerates that don't deserve help in the process. And the worst part is that there's not enough media that presents the two sides of every coin and lets the people decide what to believe. It's crazy and ludicrous and there's no way to stop it because shock and fear get ratings. I want out of this god-forsaken Digital Age of Garbage.

Put the blame where it really belongs, on the viewers. If they didnt gobble this shit up, the media wouldnt do it. Whatever happened to personal responsibility? Just because we're served junk food doesnt mean we have to eat it.

Well, yes, I would say that some of the blame is on the viewers in this case.

Amazon "updated" the Silk browser. Everything about it is ugly, the "find" function is gone, and it's impossible to view pages full screen now, the address bar is permanently taking up space. Final straw, I'm using Firefox Mobile now.

The deadline to turn in that group assignment was yesterday at 11PM. I told my teammates at least five times that I have to go to bed at nine. I thought we agreed that I would continue to work on the thing during the evening (they both had to go to work) and that they would review it and then turn it in.

My parents still make jokes about "Oh you're going to grab the bill, right, we'll wait outside."

The place I was going to be moving into is taking way too long to let me in.

We were supposed to move in two weeks ago, but someone is in the apartment that we were to be given. After a lot of "She's moving out today", the manager just started saying that the eviction process is starting.
