Yo, who plays MTG and is fairly knowledgeable about the game?

I bought the Gruul Intro pack a week ago. I took out a centaur courser and a foundry street denizen and added 1 forest, a Ghor-Clan Rampager, and Madcap Skills. Anything else that I should modify/ add-subract from this set-up?

Apart from the 4500 ATK it doesn't seem to be that great to me. The effect is okay I guess, but you can only use it twice AND have to remove a card from your hand, just so a monster gets turned to defense and its effect deactivated for a turn. Seems like awefully high costs for an at best situationally strong effect.

dork wurls are slightly pop flyin' though as they can now going into something bigger than grapha and for the most part that's the only deck that'll utilize this guy, mainly to be the biggest beater they bring out.

How do you fix your mana? I once had an ally rainbow deck and it sucked royally. Never had the colors that I needed. Heck, my Esper deck still has a little trouble with that.

The green is for ramp and Scapeshift more than anything else. The real problem is getting the fetchlands as they have gone up in price recently. RTR brings shockland prices down while hiking up the fetchland prices. I shall be watching Ebay extremely closely.

I'll probably do a mono green evolve list soon. I want to play around with the synergy with Oran-Rief, the Vastwood as a card in an evolve deck. Probably not the best thing to put in the deck but that's what playtesting is for. Undying looks like it should be strong in the deck as well.

Eh, Malefics do fine with their Cyber End Doragon, geartown gadjillatron dragon and Orichacos Stardust. They don't really need Zombiestein to make their push because skill drain is 2 scoops

Chromatic Lantern to convert all my mana into whatever I want. What most people don't know is that Chromatic Lantern can also convert your Evolving Wilds into rainbow lands. I also run defenders almost exclusively and use Axebane Guardian to get some nice mana output. I can build up a good wall with only 3 physical lands on the board.

I understood about half of that.

Either way, I don't have any of those cards. There's no incentive to Pay-to-Win in my circle. Most people I play with have nothing newer than season 1 or 2. I seriously just decided to plop Elemental HERO Necroshade into my deck because I could. No other HEROS. Just him.

Regardless of how useless 90% of the Xyz Monsters are, gen-oners are afraid of them. Plop down something with 4200 ORIGINAL attack and they will shit themselves.
