AWKWARD ZOMBIE

Brandon pulls out a key chain with all of his essential keys, and a small plastic plasma cannon toy attached to it. Pretty much useless, but he keeps it. He also finds some change, lint, and (oh thank Cthulu...) his iPod. He starts listening to music and sontinues his journey to find The Yellow One.

"Right!" Marcus and Geo said in unison.They both charged up the stairs with Seria leading the way.

"I don't usually associate stealing with staying out of trouble, but I'll give it a thought." Jay said, starting to walk down the watchtower. He kept thinking about what was going on. He was actually somehow in another dimension, and a rather interesting one at that. Maybe the rules were different here, and he could be successful now where he couldn't before. Maybe now he could live a real life, and he wouldn't have to commit petty theft or odd jobs, and he wouldn't be shunned as a poor outsider wherever he went.

He dwelled on all this and more while heading off into the wild from the watchtower. He had been mid-travel before, so he had some supplies to last a little while.

Also, is this more of an open world sandbox adventure where we can make up terrain and events ourselves as we go, or is that your job? Like, should I say "I head east" and then you tell us the scenery and events, or "I walk east, finding myself in a grove with many oranges and butterflies and also a wolf"?)

As Brandon ascended the stairs, he could see three figures making a charge for a building that was missing a door. Through said doorway, a large, hulking, and particularly hairy shape stomped out and faced the trio.

What the trio could see, however, was a full grown werewolf staring straight at them both, both eyes filled with a strange sort of rage; controlled, but still looking for an excuse to break something, or someone, or in this case, three someones.

The Kobold led the doctor into and through the camp. The Kobold; who, judging by the amount of creatures that shouted something name-ish at him when he passed by, was named Terlik. Many of the more curious creatures stared at the doctor's strange attire when he walked past, the more cautious ones, who's metal armor gave away their want for protection, watched his sword.

It didn't take long for the pair to reach the largest tent, which had a trail of light grey smoke rising from the top of it. Terlik open the flap for him, "The Shaman is in the center, behind the herbal flame. I'll join you shortly, for I must attend to my brothers for a moment." He explained before jogging off to another tent.

And for now, it's the latter, until somebody runs into at least two of our antagonists, then the dimension might get more hungry and bring in some more islands. You may or may not have a hand in making them. Hard to say--

Alec nervously ducked inside the tent, and walked towards the flame. He wasn't sure what he was supposed to do, announce his presence? He took his hat off as a sign of respect, and coughed trying to get the elder's attention. "Um.. the Terlik fellow had said you were the person to speak to about alchemy ingredients.."

Marcus had never seen or heard of werewolves before. He instead mistook the beast to be the detector Seria mentioned. "I think your detector friend is a bit angry.....and a bit nude as well."

Brandon stops and hides behind something and watches what unfolds.

The Shaman was a Troglodyde, a tall one at that. Normally, one wouldn't be able to stand the smell of one, but this one seemed to have spent so little time outside of a smelly cave, that only the scent of the herbs hit anyone's nose. He was dressed in a tattered cloth made to fit like a robe and wore several bits of primitive jewelry, ranging from teeth necklaces to small gemstones on his fingers.

The Shaman looked up when Alec made himself known, a slight hint of a smile visible behind the scales on his face. "Ah. Just as a thought. Please, have a seat. Relax in the fire's glow for a moment.

Seria took a step back, "That isn't the Detector, not at all." She managed to get out, watching the werewolf out of fear, "I-I don't know who, or what that is."

The werewolf continued to step forward. He was a little ticked off for some reason, and looked very, very hungry.

Geo went behind Marcus and Seria "H-He seems pretty angry though."
"Well then." Marcus was pretty intimidated by the werewolf. But if he could survive everything thrown at him so far, he could deal with this beast. He created a small fireball. "Do we fight, or flee?"

Zephiur took the hilt with both hands and pulled, the sword coming free with little difficulty. The corpse's arm dropped limply to its side and Zephiur tossed the sword to the side, thunking with the sound of metal on wood (I'm just assuming the house is made of wood or similar material). He knelt down and grabbed ahold of the sword pinning one of the victim's legs, and looked up at the investigator. "Healthy? What happens to explorers around here?" he asked warily, as he was about to do some exploring of his own. He would save the questions about Andy for later, he needed to know the information most pertinent to his survival in this strange world.

John: "I guess we should get some supplies for our journey, Squick, do you want to join us?"

Jane picked up a weird machine from one of the shops.
Jane: "The shopkeeper said this thing can shoot silver bullets, it must be used to kill werewolfs."

Seria looked over at Marcus. Not one to be outdone, she puffed out her slender chest and raised her now-fist tentacles, "We fight, I suppose."

the Werewolf huffed at their show of bravado, and took a couple steps towards them both. In the middle of it's third, it's attention shot towards a group of yellow feathers just now arriving to their level in the tower from the shacks towards the top.

The equine took the final sword and pulled it free from the wall, letting the corpse slump to the ground with a juicy 'thump' before counting off on her non-exsistant fingers the list Zephiur inquired about, "Maulings. Severe lacerations. Dismemberment. Being eaten. Brainwashing. And those are the ones that come back alive." She says, nodding to herself, "We do tend to find a lot of the walking dead in that desert out there, most of them look like well-prepared adventurers." The equine carried on while she examined the body, "Trust me, Pal. Everyone has better places to be then here. Unfortunately, everyone's stuck here. Myself included."

Squick bounced a little, "Sure! I do love walking around town, and I'm sure my daddy wouldn't mind at all."

Alec sat down in front of the fire. He sat in silence for a couple of minutes, staring at the flames. "so.. I was told you wanted to talk to me?"
