I say nasty things for the giggles sometimes but I've never actually been verbally agressive in any way to any of my girlfriends. I think it's a bit respectless.

I've never seen anything wrong with dating best friends. I've seen it happen with some of my friends and it went pretty well.

Also, on relationship advice: You don't have to dump your heart out to a girl to ask her out. Just say "hey wanna grab a bite to eat or get some coffee?". Do that, get to know them, and if they like you enough while doing this then you're good. Its a great way to test the waters by being around them. If its awkward and you can't think of anything to say well I guess its not meant to be chief. Also, if you're in HS then don't worry about anything long term. A lot of kids in HS are too young/fast to want anything but a fling. Anything like your soulmate would be a rare, if ANYTHING, chance that early on in your life. You'll find plenty more women. If you think that, in your point of life anyway, that "all the girls are stupid or are taken" then just wait. You won't be in the same group of people forever. Go out more, you'll find other girls. No one says you're forced to date the girls in your school.

Stran the best thing to do would just be to straight up ask her out/tell her/him how you feel and see what happens, if she says yes then that's great but if she says no then just drop it.

It sounds tough but there's no point letting her waste your time.

There is no answer to this. Not every girl is the same, not all guys are the same, no discussion is always going to go the same. Its not a video game where you have to fill a meter or get the right speech combo, just go with it. When you're comfortable with her then you'll probably be okay. If you're still awkward and bumbling its not okay.

No one is going to tell you a surefire always get them route to a girl/guy. This isn't a sitcom, you have to use your own judgement. Everyone's experience is different and while it is good to get advice, at some point you will have to use your own judgement.
