I don't think I said that right. I was just citing an example of when France showed some aspects of serious bigotry. France has been one of our greatest critics in the last few years, commenting on our public education, healthcare systems, and social transgressions. So then I read a story about the World Cup, and think that these people should be above such behavior. You would never see the United States act that way to a fellow sovereign nation, even under the guise of sports fanaticism. Ten thousand French citizens is hardly judging from "just one guy's craziness." A group that big represents a good chunk of their country's ideals. Sorry if you're going to take offense to it.

For the record, I think we should be judged for having George Bush as a president for 8 years. It means that the narrow majority of our country voted for someone who was completely inept for such a position. You can definitely judge a nation based on the people that represent them.

They had a dispute in Florida, and a republican majority ruled to not recount the votes.
