... There has been a distinct lack of giant robots.

I was promised giant robots! I DEMAND GIANT ROBOTS! But I seriously don't know who to lynch until I get Giant Robots...

Hmmm... lets start by looking... at who started the No Lynch first. Why do we always start out like this again? I keep forgetting it gives the folks a free night kill with a shot at getting a power role >.<
Oh yes, because we might end up getting a .. *check pages again, is not familiar with Metal Gear* Ah yes Supporter. God Im awful XD Shame though, because we should really check reasons whenever someone tries a No Lynch vote on the first day...

There isn't really any evidence to lynch someone on day one. No one has said anything and at that point the odds of getting a friendly is much higher than random lynching later in the game.
Why haven't there been any Greyfox kills yet?

That is pretty weird. I don't have much else to add.

I don't know how we should decide who to lynch. We could wait, and get 'the quiet ones' but that hasn't always worked out. Although it could get more people to become more active, which could lead to more 'evidence' leading to better lynches if the investigative(s) get offed somehow.

Yeah, I'm a bit unsure who to suspect as well, I guess. Then again, people like Dzelda who are spreading this doubt of who to lynch among the thread, possibly influencing others not to suspect anyone - isn't that suspicious in and of itself? I haven't played too much mafia in the past, but convincing the townspeople that nobody is suspicious to keep them from a lynching consensus seems like a viable strategy to weaken the town's ability for decisive lynchings.

^ I knew as soon as I opened my mouth someone would take the bait. :)

Now, if I am killed, you are tagged on the wagon. Good show.

That said that is not what I meant at all. What I meant was the people who advocate a No Lynch on the first day deserve to be looked at more, as that could be indicative of whether or not they be mafia looking for a free kill. And as we know, people who often start a train of thought in this game (Like I just did :P ) tend to be the foothold of information gained later.

Considering it was day 1, any sort of suspicion you put on someone will have a weak foothold anyway (at best). No one's said anything, so no one's established themselves as suspicios or innocent, and no one's made comments in reply to someone else to where alliances and nemesis pop up between players (which is where "if he's guilty, he's most likely innocent" comes in).

We need to start looking at what people say in response to other people and events today, meaning this is actually good what we're doing here. I just don't think it's quite ready to full on start suspecting any specific people yet.

Except attempting to accuse the person who started no lynching is pretty baseless and comes across as scummy. I can't say banter isn't mafia trying to throw you under the bus, but you've basically laid the groundwork for iffy behavior that anyone could have called you on.

Yeah, on Day 1 there's really no reason for anyone to suspect anyone yet, so while the mafia has the impetus to vote "no lynch" because free kill, the townspeople have equal impetus because at this point they're as likely to lynch one of their own as anyone else, given that they have almost nothing to work from.

Provided this, I wouldn't say accusing the person who started the "no lynch" has any merit at this point, frankly, and I hold to my point that Dzelda's encouraging everyone to take a look at said person is suspicious in and of itself.

EDIT: Wait a minute, just a quick clarification here. The role descriptions on the first post of the thread make it sound as if Grey Fox is obliged to kill someone every night- thus the word "must". If so, why haven't we had two kills in a night yet - one Grey Fox, and one Mafia? Is the "must" re: Grey Fox in the first post just a bit of a mistake, or is something else going on here?

Well then, youll only know if Im cool when I do go under that bus. Which I likely will. :3 I know just as well as you do that people who dont keep their mouths shut tend to die rather quickly, so Ill just set up a wonderful foothold for you folks to start the game with, rather than sit here and molder like a corpse. 8===D

After all I AM Guessing just as much as you are: Im just trying to do educated guessing.

Oh, FINALLY Day 2. Day 1 was so short and I couldn't say anything and I didn't want the mafia going after me for not saying anything Day 1 and and and
I just wanted to speak so badly sobbu sobbu

Now, as for Greyfox, either the mafia has been torturing him, the doctor has saved all of his targets, or he just hasn't chosen to do anything yet so he doesn't hit a town.
And if Snake hasn't found out anything important yet, do we still go ahead with a lynch today? 'Cause we only have so many support groups before they get lucky.
