AWKWARD ZOMBIE

Thanks so much, I'm not letting my family get me down. I'm not going to change any bit of my appearance because of their unattainable standards. They can get boobjobs/nosejobs/etc. if they want, but I just want to stay the way I am and be proud for it. They constantly try to get me to have blonde highlights or something put in my hair, and every single time I tell them no. They don't get the message. I doubt they ever will, to be honest.

I just hope someday they'll see that all those surgeries and whatnot are unnecessary.

I think all of us just need to accept the way we are and not try to hold ourselves to someone else's superficial standards. In the end I think we all might find that we're much better than their standards, they just can't see it.

Exactly how I felt after I went through a depression when I was 12. It wasnt so bad that I was considering suicide, but it was probably pretty close.

It turned out that it was a side-effect of the steroids in a new asthma inhaler I was using. When my mom first figured that out, it was the only time in my life I had ever cried tears of joy; joy that came from the knowledge that it would all be over.

PS: A few years later, I saw my older sister crying, and I immediately thought that she was going through what I did, because she never cries. It turned out that she was PMS-ing. :I

All very true. I try to have an increadibly high self image. Normaly I come off as narcisstic (which I kind of am) but it's just what I do. I'm very comfortable with my body and, while there are some parts of me that I somtimes wish I could change, I see no reason why I should try to be anything that I'm not, or can't be through my own actiions and efforts. I put alot of importance into aesthetics, but I never devalue something if it doesn't fit into my idea of physical beauty or attractiveness.

I remembered when I wanted to kill myself. This is why I need people to talk to. Otherwise I get all moody and pissy and depressed.

But enough about killing ourselves, let us talk about stuff that makes us cry.
