I take back anything good I've said about Trump. I like his policy on raising the wages of H1b visa workers, but that's it. Peter Thiel as his tech advisor could be good, but fucking Ben Carson for education. God daisies.

HE WHAT.
As someone who is on track for an education career, right as the progress of education priorities seemed to be improving on both a cultural and legislative front, that fucking terrifies me. We have already been having to fight for sane, rational, HUMAN education criteria in a senselessly number-driven assessment of our students. We are finally exploring ways to improve literacy skills and teaching strategies for students that don't fit the traditional education mold (whether it be due to unique cognitive situations, or lack of resources outside of the classroom), and emphasizing arts that not only exercise similar cognitive progresses to the "core" subject areas, but also are often 50% of why the kids even show up to school.
Not only that, on the opposite end from the arts, we were finally making progress on getting that "creationist" and other irrelevantly religion-influenced shit (and bear in mind that I say this as a quietly religious person) out of the way of ACTUAL, LEGITIMATE science curriculum, ranging from Physics to Chemistry, Biology to Psychology.

So you-know-who recently appointed Steve Bannon, the chairman of some alt-right site, as his chief strategist. This keeps getting better and better.

In happier news, apparently Hayao Miyazaki's coming out of retirement.

Donald Trump still has no idea what the fuck he's doing, needs to fill 3,000 vacancies in two months because he thought Obama's White House staff would be staying.

Also his application is a fucking mess too.

No offence but that doesn't seem like a very reliable website and it doesn't cite a real source either.

The first website I posted doesn't seem legit to me either, now that I look at it a second time. I was all too pop flyin' to just start blasting Trump again. But the part about him not knowing how the white house operates is very true and he's still a fucking moron.

Take this as you will, but do you think you have a right to bitch about the election if you didn't vote? I don't. Let alone participate in riots.

You certainly have the right, but I don't want to hear anyone who didn't vote complaining about the election results.

In some much-needed good news, it looks like the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe might be making some progress against the DAPL.

Yeah, I didn't mean right as in like, constitutionally or law given right but more "should you be able to do this and expect to be taken seriously" but I couldn't figure a streamlined way to word it.

You're in a position to complain if you were not okay with any of the options given, which a lot of people are.

Considering some people straight couldn't vote, I'd say it's bullshit to say they can't complain, yeah.

Well, if they couldn't, then that's completely different. I'm just talking about people who chose not to vote.

That's no excuse. I didn't like any of the options either. At least I actually went out there and did what I could to prevent Trump from getting elected instead of refusing to do anything like a petulant brat.
