The fact is that no matter who ends up in the hot seat, Congress will be just as useless as they've ever been and the status quo won't change. At least Clinton can be expected to act like a President, I have no fucking clue what Trump would do with that power.

Sure. One is a somewhat shady politician, and the other is a rabid, unpredictable, xenophobic demagogue with no political experience who dismissed his own celebration of sexual battery as harmless locker room talk. And as for their VP picks, ugh, don't get me started. Sure, one is a heartless bastard who tried to use cheddar set aside for HIV/AIDS to fund conversion therapy, but the other one is just so booooriiiiiing. Both options suck, might as well not vote.

Yeah like, Clinton's biggest issue is that she's a politician. Her policies were forced way more left than they originally were by Bernie gaining a lot of traction during the nomination season, as well. Saying they're "both shit" is downplaying Trump's racist, homophobic, xenophobic, islamaphobic, poor-hating, ignorant as all hell policies and temperament to an insane degree.

Well, now is the time to change shit if you dont like the senate or congress seats.
https://ballotpedia.org/United_States_C ... e_overview

Right now Trump isn't popular with anyone so likely he will be stonewalled by Congress/Senate much like Obama was if things go well for the people. Clinton is a shady motherfucker who I don't trust but shes smart enough to see how many people like Bernie and will likely take his policies into consideration. That's only speculation that she will of course, as she's not known to be entirely well, honest and trustworthy. Trump is a lunatic but you gotta put faith in the checks and balances system if he's elected (which has worked spectacularly in the past 8 years, just not to many peoples advantage) and Clinton is shady but you gotta hope she takes after Bernie's ideas. Do research on Congress elects for your area and understand they can be JUST as important as your presidential vote.

A no vote is a vote for Trump. The american political system is very strange to me, but the way I see it, if you're not voting then you dont have the right ot bitch and moan about who gets voted in because, of course, you didnt vote.

If I were american, I think I'd be voting on who'd I rather see with the Nuclear launch codes.

I can't decide which one I despise more so I'm just not voting. I voted in the primaries and my candidate lost so oh well. I would have loved to see Rand Paul vs. Sanders.

A quick reminder that this forum encourages serious and respectful discussions, and not single-word answers made to mock other members and imply they're ignorant without offering constructive thoughts. The offending post was deleted and the user received a warning. We're not here to police your every post but that doesn't give you free reign to act like a jerk by belittling other users. Thank you and have a good evening.

At first I thought it was choosing between the two lesser evils, but lately I feel Trump is legit for the people, he has been sticking it to the media and elitists of this country, I am convinced especially after that dinner where he roasted the elitists.

Plus all the wikileaks and okeefe videos don't help Hillary at all.

@Obnosim, I don't know at what point I implied Trump was a better candidate.

I think it's more of a case of the evil you know(Clinton) vs the one you don't know (Trump) .

If I know someone is evil, I wouldn't want them in charge of a country. I would figure if there was something evil about Trump we would have seen it already.

Besides, his rallies seem very alive and he seems very passionate about the country, Hillary is the complete opposite.

Oh, I guess I misinterpreted your post. Still, can anyone give me specific examples of bad things Clinton has done/said? I'm not American and I don't follow American politics that closely, especially outside of the elections. The Trump list I wrote are all things I saw in Canadian news. I've never seen a single bad thing about Hillary in the same news. I've read on the Internet about a thing having to do with her using emails the way she was instructed to and apparently it was wrong and it was blown out of proportion but I don't know. So I can't fathom how people can still make the claim that Trump and Clinton are comparably bad without concrete examples.

@Noffletoff Are you being sarcastic or do you live in another dimension entirely?
