What I've already had tossed at me so far:
- Smirnoff Ice (apparently soda that gets you drunk) (aka: right up my alley when looking for alcohol)
- Peach Schnapps
- Ciders (i have no idea what to look for though, Marc recommended Angry orchard)
- Bicardi rum is apparently good
Ice is a love it or hate it kind of thing. Most of my family hates it and it's the last thing that sits around for months in the variety packs because it's got no flavor and is only decent mixed (which at that point you might as well go for actual alcohol). Other people love it though or at least like that it's cheap? ??? Either way I would try it first before you commit to a 6 bottle pack.
Peach drinks are usually good. Some are way too sweet or have a kind of shitty fake taste, but you don't really see peach get as fucked up as other drinks. Depending on your preference of sweet vs. dry it's at least a good start
Ciders are wonderful and the more cloudy they are (at least with apple cider), the better. Clear ones are more processed and usually hard pasteurized and have a lower quality taste compared to the more "raw" cider. Don't worry though, just because it has a lot of stuff floating around doesn't mean it's pulpy if you hate pulp in orange drinks and lemonade. Just beware that you should store the cider properly because if it's not a hard pasteurization, bacteria can grow a bit easier.
Rum is great and you can do a lot with it. Rum and coke is a good starter drink for most people.
