I'm thinking about going Golgari.

What is everyone else?

Golgari makes for a great creature deck, and since seald events are all about creatures, it's a good choice. It'll also give you access to whatever black removal or discard spells are kicking around

I went Izzet and failed horribly because RU decks are all about spell slinging, not creature power (creatures win sealed events)

I'm probably Rakdos on Sunday, maybe Golgari, depends on what my second pick was for that day

That's called a lock.
It practically mandatory to have one of those.

Did awfully at the local prerelease but eh, I had fun. And picked up/promptly sold a blood crypt so I made some of my cheddar back at least.

stab wound was great. I completely wrote it off until like the third round but once I started using it I actually won some games.

Welp, I am so done with cards after the newest duel terminal kept eating me cheddar. Bloody Bahamut, Pleiades, Emeral and Lavalval Chain... and not to mention every constellar and evilswarm of the set.

Went to prerelease as Golgari. Opened some nice cards, including Jarad. Went Black/Green with a splash of White.
Won two or three, a new record for me so I'm pop flyin'.
Two guys were just giving me free cards like crazy.
It was like, "Hey, I heard that you're new, so here's 90% of my $30 box."

Ironically, Rakdos people are very nice.
I NOW HAVE ENOUGH DUAL LANDS TO PLAY THE DOORS.

Since no one answered before I'll assume that you've not played EDH in Magic and probably haven't heard of it so here is a link with details of how it works.

It's a great deal of fun and is an almost entirely casual format. If there ARE people here that play it then you should post your decklists. I'll do the same soonish.

I've heard of commander, but never referred to as 'Highlander'

"Commander" is Wizards trying to make EDH an official format after it already being around and popular for most of a decade.

Also, my roommate helped me build a Door Deck.

Wait, I thought Highlander was the "THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE" deck, meaning that there are no duplicate permanents (save lands).
