Now that I am thoroughly de-Mormoned, alcohol has a special place in my life.

Thank god I have a roommate that always makes fun of me and calls me an alcoholic, otherwise I might get too carried away.

The funny thing is, most mormons I know drink Coke or Mountain Dew like crazy, but they swear off Coffee and Tea because the scripture that says to not partake mentions just those two options.
It also never mentions why, so caffeine is never mentioned, just implied.

But yeah, Tea and Coffee are great.

Redd's is pretty good but apparently 8%/vol is nowhere near enough to get anywhere near wasted.

And so I still don't have a clue what my actual alcohol tolerance is like.

I'm really excited to travel outside of the country next year and a big reason for it is just the ability to drink past midnight when out on the town.

It's been a while but I think it tastes like booty. In general avoid mint things when it comes to alcohol.

I turn 21 in a couple weeks, I've had only a very minor amount of alcohol, and I'm looking for recommendations.
What I have had is really small, a few sips of beer (which was fucking gross), half a glass of wine (it was ok but i probably wouldnt drink much of it), and some of this peach thing at a restaurant which was pretty daisies good.

What I've already had tossed at me so far:

Smirnoff Ice (apparently soda that gets you drunk) (aka: right up my alley when looking for alcohol)
Peach Schnapps
Ciders (i have no idea what to look for though, Marc recommended Angry orchard)
Bicardi rum is apparently good

Beer, like coffee, is an aquired taste that you start drinking mainly for its effects, but grow to enjoy.
