In recent political news, Josh Earnest, white house press secretary, said that Donald Trump calling for all muslims being banned from entering the US disqualifies him as president.

I am fairly amused and glad that he has been openly denounced like this, I'm actually hoping that Trump can't swallow his pride and digs a deeper hole.

I'm not sure what's going around my area, but a crap ton of cars were pulled over by police today while I was on the way home from college. I saw at least 6 cars and an empty semi-truck get pulled over on my side of the freeway alone and at least 2 more on the other side.

I'm assuming there's some terrorist paranoia or something going on, or maybe something to do with that car that had like an hour long chase with the police. This one. Or maybe that another person was shot to death with the suspect(s) uncaught.

Not too sure, but a lot of weird and bad things have been going on around here. Stay safe guys!

One of my relatives (my dad's cousin) teaches at a college here in Arkansas. I don't know much, as my mom just told me a couple minutes ago, but there was some asshole up there with a rifle, and had a shitload of explosives in his truck.

Make no mistake, the only reason he's being charged at all is because his shitty behavior made headlines, otherwise its not really anything out of the ordinary for a corporate executive. He's sure as hell not going to get the kind of punishment anyone who isnt rich would have gotten for the same crime. Wealth is basically the same as immunity from prosectution unless you piss off someone higher up on the social hierarchy

which is why I have always hated the "elite."

I'm not gonna hate someone for having more cheddar, don't get me wrong. It's that those who have an income over a certain amount are pretty much considered above the law. Half the time it seems they'd have to get caught deliberately attempting to detonate a nuclear device in a major city to actually see the inside of a prison cell as an occupant.

Its not just a matter of cheddar, it usually has to be cheddar coupled with social connections, which usually only legacy families have. Someone who is born a nobody but strikes it rich doesnt have quite the same protection, he has it better than a poor person, but the actual elite status is beyond him. Legacy families are modern day royalty, essentially beyond reproach.
