there's only 4 members of the mafia left. I was the gang leader. You know who half of us are. There is bodaciously no chance of us winning, and the rest of my gang (read: the ONLY person online to read the fucking document because half the mafia has been ABSENT the whole FUCKING game) seems to think perpetuating this and DRAGGING it on will be better. We are highly outnumbered. Even if we killed someone tonight, we're outnumbered. There is no way we can win. And i wish the rest of my team can see that.

As for the rest of YOU, you ruined this game for me. You took things to a WAY too serious level. This game was supposed to be FUN. It even had a cowboy theme! But you didn't even BOTHER playing with that. You were all too busy taking a silly semi-strategy game way, way too far. You acted like everything was way personal and took it all too far and sucked the fun out of it. You turned this thread into something just as heated as the Taboo Topics thread. Especially Madican, ESPECIALLY Kamak, and definitely Flicky. Take a fucking BREAK you guys. You do NOT need to write essays about a fucking GAME. Have FUN for once. Play with the cowboys theme a little! Enjoy yourselfves! Stop using fucking META as "evidence". Bear is going to have to quit playing this game like exeres because you guys focus more on performance in past games than on performance in the current game. You even focus on online times of the forum, and of posts in other threads. That is bullshit, unfair, and you know it.
The last game was more fun, although there were already signs of you guys killing the fun. The first few threads were the best. People were having FUN. People werent taking this too SERIOUSLY. You do realize Mafia is, at its core, partially a roleplaying game, right? Where is that? Where is the people immersing themselves? Where is the goddamned FUN? You've taken it almost to the point where its comparable to a guy who obsesses over EVs and IVs and shit in pokemon beating children in pokemon battles at a casual local pokemon tournament that were only there to have fun.
You guys have forgotten to have fun.
Thanks for dragging this out to be the most draining, frustrating, annoying, drawn-out game of "mafia" ever. This and the last games were my first experiences with a forum version of the game after only playing it over ventrilo, chat rooms, and IRL summer camps. The last thread was fun, but this thread has turned into a thoroughly unpleasant experience. I'll stick to playing it on other platforms. Or at least not playing it on THIS forum.
And I know some of you are going to claim i'm being a "sore loser". But I'm not. I've been feeling this since near the beginning of the game, but especially so after you guys dragged on a "discussion"(more like an insult and grudge-logic battle) for pages and pages and pages. This was NOTHING like the last threads of this game. A particular highlight was flicky at one point calling everyone who didnt vote with him "retarded". I signed up for a game of FUN. I honestly expected to die quickly, but I expected it to be FUN. Instead it was drawn out and stupidly tense, grudges everywhere, and a team that was either not around or never listened to any of my own thoughts and opinions. And if I dare voiced my displeasure at the attitude of the game, I got guilt tripped and told "well if you dont like it why did you sign up"(because apparently i'm all seeing and should have known the game should have turned out like this, right?
) or "well if you dont like it, then quit!"(are you pop flyin' now?). Because criticizing something for not being as fun as it could have been is NOT ALLOWED. No opinions. You need to enjoy it or you need to GET OUT. And that attitude really pisses me off. If something with faults is never criticized, and those who want to are told to just leave and take their crits with them, then it's never going to get better. And, well, that's what I think is going to happen. If these threads arent banned outright like adventure threads once were, then theyre just going to drag on and on and on until you have people screaming at each other on day 1 for 20 pages while half the people who signed up never say a goddamn word.

edit: while i was typing this up it seems D-Vid ended the game so i can tell you. I was complaining in the mafia document that I felt that the fun was gone, and there was no point in dragging it on since we were highly outnumbered and Bear's plan had backfired, and the townies already knew me and Sax were mafia. Through the entire game, the mafia was disjointed and confused, most of us were never present, typewith.me broke, and a lot of voices were never heard. I felt that the fastest and best course of action would to be to give up to the town because we were highly OUTNUMBERED. Crisp got really pissy and started guilt-tripping me for having a FUCKING opinion, and i got defensive, and i got mad, and when i get mad i get mean. crisp pulled the "well if you dont like it why did you sign up/then leave" argument, so I did. Because if crispy thinks zi can just get away with being even brattier than i am and be horribly bossy and opinion-erasing just because D-vid is hir boyfriend and the GM, im not going to deal with it. so i quit and typed this up.
