No, that does not excuse the fact that there were prisoners of war and people missing in action because of the war. You want to complain about how Vietnam was our fault? Fine. Those people were tortured and killed and some of their bodies are still lost because of us. I think a flag to remember their sacrifice for an utterly worthless cause is the least we can do.

Seriously, imagined if a posse of black citizens roamed around armed to the teeth, the cops would send in the fucking army. THIS is a really big fucking racial issue.

This actually kind of happened for real in Baltimore. The riots got out of hand and the shitty cops couldn't get it under control so the National guard was called in, in addition to the already overly militarized police.

A police officer was pistol-whipped by his own weapon because he was too afraid to use force on the suspect due to all the media attention police have been getting lately.

Oh for gods sake, there's a goddamn line between disabling a suspect and beating them to death in the back of a van, then refuse to accept responsibility for their death. People get arrested through force every day without making it onto the news, its EXCESSIVE force that people are sick of. Are they gonna be fucking martys now and whine about how they cant do their jobs?

I'm not looking forward to people acting this is evidence that people are overreacting to police. That a police officer thinking the only way to deal with someone is to kill them is somehow evidence that police use reasonable force.
