You know when you've got lots of snow and it's starting to melt but you still gotta clear the driveway and the snow weights a ton?
Yeah

By the time it all finished, I think I got about 15 inches of snow, total.

My cat (who is an indoor cat) escaped out the back door when it was open and jumped into the snow. She couldn't move. She ended up having to basically paddle her way back to the walkway. Suffice to say, she was willing to go back inside after that.

That is just precious. I wish I saw that.

Do you live in a forest? It looks beautiful.

Huh. so apparently it did snow last night, but it all melted before like 8 or 9. and I woke up at ten and didn't even leave my bed to look out the window or nothin till 12. yeah I am dissapoint now.

So far, every school in the area has canceled school for tomorrow due to snow except mine. I think it is because I have a new superintendent and he's all "OH A SNOW DAY I CAN'T CANCEL SCHOOL BECAUSE THEN PEOPLE WOULD THINK I AM A WIMP! IT IS INSTEAD MUCH SAFER TO GO WITH THE DECISION THAT WILL CAUSE EVERYONE TO HATE ME!"

I live on the edge of a forest.

Or, more accurately, my yard was once a forest, but is now a peninsula of lawn where my house is.
Also, invisible in that picture is my neihbors house, which is basically the same deal as mine.


But that doesn't stop it from being picturesque in the winter.

I want to live there.
