Oh yeah, I've had to take my share of 'horse pills'. They were the ones I used to put a dab of butter on to help them go down, but I can tolerate them just fine on their own now.

I've had slight pains and what feels like pressure in my other ear for a few days now which are most likely symptoms of wax buildup so I decided that I'll be using ear drops until it gets better. I don't want to go through the same shit I did 1½ years ago where one ear was completely blocked for a week until I went to see an otolaryngologist.

Hey ladies of AZ, why does this little lady not have mother nature punching her ovaries regularly each month? I'm not complaining, but I think it's weird that I can go like 5 months without it, but then be regular for 3.

^ yeah that's not super normal. obviously ask your gyno about it, but a lot of times if you're really stressed or not eating enough you can lose your period for so many months as your body deems you unfit for motherhood. it could be a medical reason that needs to be taken care of, i knew i girl with something wrong with her uterus (like she had cysts or something?) and she only had like 3 periods a year. or it could just be ~you, like my body liked for me to bleed for two weeks and pass out a lot until i went on bc.

but ultimately. tell your dr.

part of me would love not having periods for 5 months but on the other hand i'm sexually active and it'd absolutely terrify me

I have the same thing going on as Angelic and it can be pretty nervewracking at times. Mainly because I just don't know when to expect it, so it's like all of a sudden, "OH, YOU'RE WEARING NICE UNDERWEAR TODAY? HERE, HAVE THREE TABLESPOONS OF BLOOD AND MUCOUS"

Some women just aren't that regular, I had two co workers who probably would get it once every two months or so, but when they did get it it was super heavy and be really painful. One of the girls, her doc put her on the pill to regulate it, after that she got it on time and it was much lighter and didn't hurt much at all.

Yeah, mine's usually pretty light, even after the long, drawn out intervals. Although if it ever is going to be "oh shit I'm not going to school today nope" (only ever happened like, twice,) it's after one of the long intervals.

I've been on the pill for the past three months and it makes my periods almost non-existent, it's the best thing ever.

somehow that reminded me that when i was little i got this really bad flu/virus thing and i had to take these MASSIVE pills. like as long as quarter is wide. and my mom told me they were horse pills and i thought it was RADICAL to take horse pills

I used to have to take this for my allergies.

They were like 2000 mg tablets and they were banana flavored. Tough as fuck to swallow even with liquid.

Now I'm a pro at downing pills though, and all of my pills keep getting smaller and smaller.

This is some bullshit.

I have to take them with water though, more as an insurance policy. I started trying to take them dry in middle school and I ended up getting it hung up in my throat and causing myself to throw up.

Don't want to cause any unnecessary bullshit.

sometimes i think my mom is mentally ill because she gets incredibly paranoid over small stuff and she gets mad as hell for no reason either

she keeps going through my trash and if i throw it out before she can look she'll actually go through the rubbish tip outside to find out what i've thrown away

i don't know what to do about it because like 90% of the time everything is fine but then suddenly it's like a switch goes off inside her and she becomes paranoid and angry and threatens to throw me out and says awful things to me

what should i do?

There's not really much you can do if your mom really does have some kind of mental condition. Most people don't like to hear that they might have a problem, and parents want to hear that from their children even less.

Last week I noticed an odd bump on my forearm. It seems to be a soft, movable lump under the skin. After some research I've decided that it's most likely a lipoma; basically a benign tumor made of fat tissue. Apparently it's fairly common and entirely harmless. It doesn't hurt and it's effectively invisible so I'm not bothering to go see a doctor.

What kinda implant is it? Also if they have to cut it out with a scalpel... wouldn't they have cut you open in the first place to put it there?
