this summer weather heatwave thing


It's about to get SERIOUS.

Sunny and warm and shit until five minutes ago

Temperature dropped like 20 degrees, cool GUSTS, DARK ROLLING CLOUDS...

hell yeah not been this excited in ages.

'MERICA FREEDOM DAY
is coming up. anybody doing anything fun?
There's a nearby park that has a big festival and fireworks thing. Go there every year with the homies and bum around.
will probably do the same this year.

I live bodaciously as far away from everything else in town as is possible without actually leaving the legal limits, but I might be able to see some fireworks from here. I've actually never gotten to set off fireworks, by which I mean anything at all but those paper-and-sand popper things (which I admit are addictive) and sparklers (also addictive). Still, it would be cool to light something other than that someday, haha. I suppose if I wanted to I could buy my own, but I may wait... there's a TON of young kids here who are never supervised and they're dumb enough to get hurt if I tried it here.

As for summer in general, I got a really nice kite I like to fly sometimes, and I take my little brother to the pool every friday. He always wants to play fight me; I'm a "water dragon," and he decides how many hit points we have and what attack we can do beforehand, but usually makes me way stronger and lets himself lose because he thinks it's funny when I pull him around in the water or push him over.

I might go to the local Ren Faire later in the summer, although I always feel super shy and really stupid at them because I'm worried if I try to get really into it I'll do it wrong and accidentally offend someone or something? I don't want anyone to think I'm teasing them or anything like that so I end up getting flustered and tripping over my words when someone approaches me in-character because I'm not sure what would be appropriate, haha.

Other than that, RPing with friends, playing games, drawing stuff in my spare time, and looking for a job since I had to resign from my previous one at the beginning of last semester.

I'm working at the local town museum for the summer, and I plan of having a bunch of my friends over, seeing as how they all graduated and will be leaving in the fall.

My friend is having a 4th of July party so it looks like I'll be going to that. Since they live outside the city limits, we get to play with fireworks which is always a fun time.

We might also play paintball or something, that's fun.

Honestly this summer kind of sucks so far.
Best I can hope to do really is get some programming done rather than sitting around tumblr for hours each day.

I built all my gunpla, I guess its about time to start over customizing them
