If I recall, weed isn't legal anywhere, but some places just don't enforce it.

Sort of? I guess it depends on your definition of legal.

Since I'm going to be moving out soon, I'd like to know which internet provider is the most reliable. As in, won't disconnect every shitting minute. It has to be pretty inexpensive but I'm sure I can find cheddar for it.

On that note, do many apartment complexes have free internet service? I probably sound stupid but I've crashed at my parents' place for the last 18 years so I have little info on that.

And how about something even broader? What would be a good, affordable place for an upcoming graduate like myself to live in? I'd like to not live with my parents because I'm tired of putting up with the crap that happens here.

Your options are:

DSL
Pros: You have your own connection, generally quick, with Ethernet it's reliably connected.
Cons: Speed depends on how far from the box you are.

Cable
Pros: Can be lightning fast, reliably connected, generally high bandwidth.
Cons: Speed dependent on how many other people in your area are using the service. Think of it as a river, where if people upstream are diverting the water for their own use, you're not getting much when it reaches you.

Dial-Up
Pros: Don't knock it, it might be the only option you have. It's generally reliable, sort of slow but that might not be too much of an issue compared to no Internet at all.
Cons: Slow and you have to get a device that stops incoming calls from knocking you offline.

I've heard great things about DSL, inexpensive, and fast.

But it's only in select locations.

It honestly really depends on where you're going to live. Some areas will really only have one provider.

I haven't seen many apartments with free internet, it's up there with utilities, and usually only higher-end apartments have utilities paid.

For the record, my ISP is Charter, and they're okay. Decent speed, disconnecting is not a huge issue and when it is you can just call Customer Service about it. Once my service went out for a day or two, and they sent a guy out to replace a cable, boom fixed in 5 minutes.

My ISP is Charter and our service is shit because my parents are broke and can't pay service fees for the cable replacement so we have to deal with crap connection.

I live in Texas and may or may not move out of state, depending on future circumstances.

I wouldn't recommend any of the 3D FFs because I'm old-school.

I think you should disregard my advice anyway because I don't know the fuck I'm talking about regarding the FF franchise. :B

I'm totally the hipster since VII is not my favourite.

But anyway, question still stands. XIII y/n?

For reference I liked... pretty much all of them except XII. I even liked X-2 a lot. Favourite is IX, X was pretty nice, VIII was okay, VII too, the 2D ones were not bad I guess. VI, V and IV are all somewhere between X and VIII on my scale, III I only played the DS remake and it was only okay IMO. I and II are probably lowest on my scale but still in front of XII.

So knowing that, would I like XIII?

If you get XIII, know that the tutorial lasts for around forty hours and it's you running up and down halls. Plot doesn't even get started until after that.
