My game club is handing out starter decks for Magic tonight, considering going to learn how to play.

I'm only playing it on duel network, but I've been yu-gi-ohing recently (and was gonna start a thread until I saw this).
I started with a deck of random good looking cards, and after a while it turned into a skill drain deck. I also made an inzektor deck to test how broken they are (very). I made a few others but they just didn't make the cut.
My name on duelingnetwork is FRIENDSHIP, if you can find me when I'm on.

That hilarious moment when a fake ban list was put out which stated that Trish was banned and everyone believed it. Then prices on Trishula's went down to like $25. And I got myself a Trishula for like $28. Funny, funny stuff.

I haven't had the chance to play Yugioh in a while; are there any blatantly overpowered cards that are gonna be banned soon?

I can only hope the TCG banlist differs so it's not so pants on head retarded.

Either way, I intend to keep that Trish on hand, maybe it'll be bumped down once the whole "Promote people to play XYZ" bans are over with.

I've always wanted to try Xyz monsters.

On the topic of Banlist, my younger brother's deck has tons of forbidden cards that I can't convince him to take out.
It serves as a great way to hone my problem-solving, though. That is, until Fiber Jar shows up.

Seriously, his deck is 50% Level 5+ monsters! The only thing keeping me at bay is the fact that he has a copy of EVERY JAR KNOWN TO MAN. Making me way too paronoid to attack his face-down cards. It's more frustrating than my friend's Gravekeeper deck for goodness sake!

I was never able to win a game during tournaments, but I was able to successfully troll tons of players with my Fiber Jar. It was always hilarious to see their expression when they realize that everything's about to get reset.

WHAT KIND OF TOURNAMENT ALLOWED YOU TO USE IT IN THE FIRST PLACE?!

Seriously, I think using Fiber Jar is the biggest insult to any duellist.

I only played it when the other guy set up his game-winning array and I had nothing left to break it. It was always last resort, but what a resort it was. Restarting the duel to get better footing is just another tactic, whether the opponent liked it or not. Get his fucking Yata-Garasu off the table.
