Hah, I went to an anime convention in Melbourne once. It was sharing the same venue as the motorbike expo. Simulatenously. It was the best thing ever seeing burly hardcore bikers stare awkwardly and cross-dressing animu fags.

Never been to them but I have a upstanding member of society friend who's told me a great deal of his experiences in them.

Rarely are there ever women. Even the female fursuits are just men in them.

I'm never one to wear revealing cosplay since I cosplayed as Weda from Hare and Guu once. That got more attention from creepy booty men probably ten years my senior then I ever would want. .-.

I understand people at anime cons are friendly, but personal space really is a problem with them.
