Can't we just ritual sacrifice another goat to appease the vote? Also, wow I just noticed we're kind of on a serious time limit here:

That's... some odd logic there, Marcato. Neither outcome really proves much about you, though if he comes up mafia it does indicate you're clean. But with votes against flying giraffe, this kind of seems like he could be taking a bullet for the team so someone else can look clean.

Yeah. If Marcato is town too, he really has no way to know who mafia is. While I don't see why mafia would sacrifice a member this early.

Exactly. If Giraffe is innocent, I'm basically done. I have an 80% chance of looking like scum as a villager, but it would be 100% if I was mafia. Giraffe being innocent would paint a target on my neck, and with only 2 mafia members there is no possible way that they would ever do something this risky this early.

Egoat, question: Is there just one godfather and one mafioso? Does the godfather turn up innocent if lynched?

Hmm.

It's not really about proving something about me, it's more about trying to get the game moving and avoiding people ho-humming around for the first day or two.

Yeah only about 7 town, 3 maf, and only 3 power roles for Town, at least Mafia doesn't get any power roles besides the ability to kill

Yea, plus the fact that there has to be a lynch, and the godfather shows as guilty (which will prevent suspicions if he's lynched). I feel like this is the first game I've played where the mafia is kinda underpowered.

That's fair, getting the game moving is probably best day 1. I'll vote lynch Flying Giraffe, both because it's already the popular vote and because my RNG pointed to them as well.
