I have 6x 3TB drives in RAIDZ2 on my NAS, totaling about 12TB of space. I'm not close to filling them up, but I had filled up my external drive before getting this system. Going to have to look into some decent backup solutions for this :P

If you use Steam on Linux this probably interests you. Any one else can probably get a good chuckle out of it.

There seems to be an issue with the GTX 970.

Here's a Youtube channel that's a bit different from your typical tech reviewer:

I'm no expert on electronics but taking apart old computers and other machines is always interesting.

Finally got a second 8GB stick. I can already tell Chrome uses a bit more memory than it used to with the same amount of tabs open.

Funny thing, I ordered 1333mhz since it was the cheapest and I wasn't concerned with the speed but the store ran out of those after I placed my order, so they sent me a 1866mhz one instead. It came wrapped in antistatic packaging and was part of a kit of a kit of 2, but my mobo had no trouble adjusting the clocks to match my old stick.

I wrote my first try catch that only serves to suppress an error message. I feel kinda dirty but I swear this makes the most sense.

I wrote my first powershell commandlet that is being deployed in a module for use among my colleagues :D

I feel proud for getting the code this neat and making sure it works on edge cases without breaking things utterly.

WHY THE FUCK DOESNT JQUERY HAVE CONSISTENT CAMELCASING NAMING CONVENTIONS

ie. .dblclick instead of .dblClick or fucking .mouseenter instead of .mouseEnter, the former which is barely readable.
