Ok, that makes three of us. I remember being WOWED at Animal Crossing's graphics when we first got it.
Thing was so amazing.

Ironically, AC's graphics were bodaciously off the N64.
Animal Crossing started out as Animal Forest, a Japan-only release for the N64DD (and we all know how that went). Instead of making a new Animal Forest for GameCube, they remade the old one with e-reader functionality (and we all know how that went). It was then that Animal Forest finally made its way to the rest of the world.

Remember when Animal Crossing didn't have the stupid rolling-pin world?

Whatever. It all looked the same to me as a kid.
Now it's like, "Hey, dude, now I know you're playing a GameCube game, but how do blurry textures and low polygons sound?"

Remember when MLP was only watched by 3-6 year olds?

They still do, but only because I never end up completing them until months after I got them.

I remember dial-up.

I remember phones that had the rotary dial. I mean actually using one though, not just one sitting around my grandma's place.

I hated dial up so bad. Took like a solid minute to start up, and God forbid if someone had to use the phone.

I remember when I thought that upload and download meant the same thing.

Remember Tang? My roommate only remembers it as the stuff from the commercial with the orangutan.

Remember playing silly flash games and thinking they were real quality products?

I remember there was this Scooby Doo game I liked to play and it would only load properly once a month, when the stars line, but I loved playing that dumb booty Scooby Doo flash game.
