The notes you take in lecture?

There are people (professor assistants, most of the time) who write down the classes and add all the information from books, so, you only need to read the notes and you'll be getting the necesary info of the book in 70 pages (best case scenario) instead of the 300 pages from the book. So, for $30 (6 bucks) you have the necessary things to pass the exams, instead of paying... at least $1500 (300 bucks) in a book that you're going to use ONE TIME IN A LIFETIME.

The downside of it, it's that maybe topics you need to know were removed by the one who wrote the "notes", and if you depend too much in that "notes", you can be screwed. Nevertheless, they are pretty useful when you're getting behind schedule and the class is in 2 days.

Anyways, on topic:

The man who said that vaccines are related to autism, was a fake. He manipulated all his research for some reason. People still believes in his research and there are campaigns against vaccines nowadays.

I'm not 100% on this one.
You know the 3 big pyramids of Gizeh? Built by Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinos?
Well apparently, there's nothing to suggest they were actually. The only account for it was made by someone who lived almost 3000 years later who came from Greece who heard it from some local. And some guy in the 1800's who used rather questionable archeological methods finding some hieroglyphs that may have been made by himself.

So...secondhand notes from the book. We don't have a word for that probably because that sounds a little too complicated for a task that can be as effectively achieved by just taking notes in class.

Didn't they find a stone tablet with Cheops' name on it in a secret chamber in the roof of the King's Chamber? I think I read somewhere that it was the only proof.

Yeah those were scrawled on the wall and interpreted as made by the stone cutters. But quite some things were off about it but never really looked into.

12 newborns will be given to the wrong parents daily.
A pig's orgasm lasts for 30 minutes.
Only one person in two billion will live to be 116 or older.

^That first one is scary.

There is no evidence to prove that Humpty Dumpty was an egg. In fact, it was more likely a cannon.

Also, this was the first image ever uploaded to the internet.

I was looking at ancestry.com the other day, and on my mom's side there was a MASSIVE spike in life length in the 1940s. Apparently everyone on my mom's side of the family back then was living to 104.

We're your grandparents war profiteering or something to pay for awesome medical doctors or something? How much inheritance did you get when they eventually kicked the caboose?

My aunt's grandmother is 105. I also have a friend who's grandma turned 100 last year.

Something you may not have known: In Kentucky, it's illegal to walk around with ice cream in your back pocket. People used to steal horses that way.

Can we still steal horses that way? That sounds hilarious.
