While I do agree that making the Confession thread purely as an attempt to get free entertainment is pretty unbecoming of a moderator, it was 4 years ago. I am a ~completely~ different person now than I was in 2011, and I'm sure Spoony and Vax have also changed since then, so I don't hold anything against them. How often is Spoony even around, anyway?

Obnosim I apologize if you feel that you don't respect me as a moderator anymore due to my post. It really wasn't meant to suggest that I like to sit here and secretly laugh at the members of this forum or anything. I also personally would never make fun of anyone (real life or otherwise) by calling them autistic or using mental disability as a point of derision.

You have to understand that, when Spoony and I came up with that thread, the forum was a considerably different place. There were a lot more trolls and people who behaved in a much less acceptable way. There were always people around with lousy attitudes and often there would be people making off the wall and borderline offensive posts, but without TECHNICALLY breaking the forum rules. Is what we tried to do basically entrapment? Maybe, I suppose. That being said, as I said in my original post (which tbh was exaggerated for comedic effect) barely anyone said anything horribly incriminating or disgusting, and we were relieved to see that. Did we want some LOL ROFL LULZ at the time? Kinda yeah. But we didn't sit there and laugh our asses off at people making genuine and well intentioned confessions of a personal nature.

I am sorry that Spoony made some off-putting comments about you back in the day. I can't really speak for him, but I'm sure he wasn't attempting anything malignant.

And yeah, sorry guys; I'm sure you'll find many more posts of me being a dick if you look. That's on me. Apologies to anybody else I was a jerk to as well. Hopefully nobody still hurtin.

there's a lot of ways to have fun, besides it's not like you can't make dumb jokes anymore (see: whatever happened not too long ago with that one kid whose name I forgot who complained about freedom of speech)
