Orarcle, you are aware that you are currently coming off as mafia, yes?

Bear's only real defence that he's offered is that the mafia are framing him. I was willing to be killed to prove my innocence.

If Bear is telling the truth that he is the Sheriff, then we are two townies locked in epic battle which will result in the town losing at this point regardless of who gets lynched.

What he's revealed as will make it pretty clear who to trust. Mafia's more than likely gonna win, but there's nothing we can do about that now.

everyone knows the godfather shows up as innocent, not just the mafia. The mafia also has group meetings, like in every other game, where the godfather is present. The mafia doesn't think the godfather is innocent, that's just dumb.

Also, notice how conveniently he came out as Sheriff AFTER basically giving up thinking he was going to be lynched. The mafia is working to use Neffy as a trusted member of the group to try to get innocent townies killed.

I was trying to play it safe by not outing myself when I tried turning the town against Neffy, but at this point I've found two Mafia members that are still alive. We need to take care of them now.

"willing to die" just seems scummy to me. it's a card pulled in order to shift things in your favor, which will then make people NOT want you to die, which makes you get off scott free. if you had any care for your team you would not be "willing to die", its a shitty guilt-trippy way to earn trust and i don't trust anyone that claims to be willing to die.

He meant that if Neffy's plan backfired, then the REAL Sheriff wouldn't be able to investigate you and get a different result than Neffy reported.

Basically, let's assume you were just vanilla mafia and Neffy said you were innocent. Neffy dies, Sheriff investigates you, and you're guilty.

However, if you were Godfather, real sheriff would see you as innocent, which would match what Neffy said, making you less suspicious.

Try reading the post Galaxy. Of course everyone knows godfather shows up as innocent on investigation. So if Nef is going to pretend to be sheriff, it'd be good to have a list that stands up to the real sheriff so they can't come in and blow his act wide open. Who better to use than the godfather that shows up as innocent on every investigation? Keeping in mind that Nef is mafia and he has no idea who is truly innocent, so he puts down the name of the one role that will always show as innocent: you.

Except it's not a guilt trip. If I'm actually scum then I get NOTHING out of suiciding after killing an innocent. We're back to where we started. And if Madi AND I are scum, then we'd be losing 2 mafia members on a gamble.

And still, you said I NEVER voted for Neffy. You didn't say "never before you claimed sheriff", and even if you meant that, even THAT was wrong.

If you want to make accusations, how about you take 5 seconds to make sure you're right. It was pretty easy to find both posts.
